Very enjoyable, nice collection. I wasn't able to finish seeing everything and was one of the last to leave. One of the employees gave me a ticket to return anytime and finish my visit (which I did the next day).

We have been before but enjoyed coming again. I was pleased to walk into one of the small galleries and see Ansel Adams prints on the wall. The Monet was a joy. So I will gladly come again. Not sure if there is a separate place to commend the restaurant with ***** I will look.

The Museum of Fine Arts in Downtown St Petersburg is not the Hermitage. It is an old historic home/building that combines art, sculpture, decorative arts and a great gift shop. I have a reciprocal membership from the VMFA (Richmond) which allows entry to this museum and the Dali. If you are an art aficionado the membership will pay for itself... More

This a wonderful place to gaze upon works of art. Learning history of each piece and artistic design gave you a wealth of knowledge. Great for any art enthustist or anyone looking to learn something new

What a treasure! The collection is not extensive but St. Petersburg’s Museum of Fine Arts maximizes its appeal with a wide variety of programs and special exhibits. The permanent collection is nicely displayed and well organized, featuring an interesting selection of pieces including traditional and old masters, contemporary arts, selections from a variety of cultures and eras, and a sculpture... Very nice building and location! Their art collection was very poor, small and it was to dark in my opinion - at some some point we had to use a cellphone flash light on painting to see details... and their separate wing with out of body experiance - is a totAl fiasco. We did not get the point of that... More

Beautiful museum. The area on the right was awesome. The seasonal exhibits in the left were nice, one was very odd and slightly distasteful but that's not the museum's fault.

This is a great small museum. There are ancient sculptures, Indian art, a few of the old masters--like a small Renoir. But I liked the innovative modern exhibits best--often done w/ computer video. I loved the gallery that juxtaposed a clock with a beach scene in a very unique way. In the same room were two artists who posed as... More

The Museum of Fine Arts offered a wonderful mix of artifacts, fine art and sculptures. There was plenty to see and experience. It was much bigger than we thought and it took almost 3 hours to tour the entire museum. A surprisingly great treat!

Thank Steven S
