If I could give 0 stars I would! We had booked this fishing trip for our vacation thru fishing booker.com. Immediately captain Brett Lutze texted and asked if we could do a morning trip as there are often pop up showers in the afternoon. We agreed and he told us where to be on Friday at 8am. He also told me not to worry about correcting the time with FishingBooker.com. Now I see why. That was his first excuse when he finally replied at 10:45, “you were booked for the afternoon.” When I screen shot our text thread and sent it back to him his response was, “oh yeah. Well there’s red tide and no fish biting anyway.” We were there. He was not! He had been in contact all week as Elsa was coming through. (She didn't hit Tampa as hard as they thought. There were other small private boats leaving the marina while we waited, so weather was NOT the problem.) We showed up at 8am as soon as the marina opened for our 8:30 booking. At 9am after sending several texts, calling him, leaving voicemail and getting no response, I spoke to the guys working the marina. They knew who he was, the red truck he drives, and gave us the name of his boat. They said "He'd been doing pretty good the last year and a half." Leading us to believe this is not the first time he's done this to someone. It's now 9:30am and we are leaving, done waiting. We sent multiple texts, called and left a voice mail with no response. Now that's its toward the end of our trip and the weekend no less, we won't find another option. My little brother is devastated. This was the one thing he wanted to do on this trip. DO NOT BOOK. Fishing booker wouldn’t let us post a review until after our trip. After he stood us up the captain canceled because of Hurricane Elsa remnants. Since it was cancelled I still could not leave a review! The risk is not worth it!

Captain Brett was great! He provided all rods, reels, tackle, and live bait. The weather wasn’t the best for the day we had originally booked, so he reached out to ask if we could reschedule for a better chance at fishing. We were able to do so and had a great time! He baited our hooks, even helped my daughter cast out, and was very patient with us as we got hung up a couple of times. We caught mackerel, snapper, key west grunt, jack, and even some catfish. Not all were keepers, but defiantly a fun variety of fish! He filleted the fish for us, and suggested a local place to cook them, which didn’t disappoint. All of this was very reasonably priced. I highly recommend Sunrise Fishing Adventures and will definitely use them again in the future!

My dad and I were not from the area and looking for some fishing to do in the area. We came across Sunrise Fishing online and contacted the captain about a fishing trip. Immediately we got a response and got our appointment scheduled. The day of our trip we received a text that it was too windy to fish and the boat wasn't able to go out. Capt. Brett then worked with us and our schedule in order to get us out on the water. Very courteous of him to work with us so well. In the beginning, fishing was slow but Capt. Brett didn't give up and took us to different spots and used several different methods to catch the fish. About halfway through the trip we were pulling in fish like crazy. Several different species and sizes of fish. After, completing the trip, Capt. Brett filleted our fish and recommended us to a local restaurant that cooked the fish for us. Great service, super friendly, and makes great conversation. On a final note, not only was Capt. Brett a great fisherman, but a great tour guide too. If you're unfamiliar with the area Capt. Brett will point out all the landmarks and cool sights to see. Highly recommend and will definitely be returning for more.

Booked a 3 hr charter with Captain Brett, what a great decision. Brett was easy to communicate with, friendly and very knowledgeable of the area. Our group of three had a great day fishing the intercoastal waters. Everything including rods, license, bait and filleting of caught fish is included in price. Very reasonable compared to others. Brett took us to 5 or 6 different fishing spots where we caught several different types of fish. All kinds of wildlife along the way including dolphins. The boat is older, accommodates 4 passengers maximum, has all the safety and fishing requirements and navigates the waters easily. Brett picked up our group from a public dock and made things convenient all around. Will definitely use this charter again when in St Pete's.
