We took the 10 am shuttle out and the noon shuttle back. I suppose you can pack a lunch and spend all day, but a few hours was enough time for us. It's a nice beach, but the one by our hotel was quite nice,...More

Very pretty spot. We enjoyed a lovely sunset cruise on a small boat. It was a very reasonable $25 per person. Beautiful scenery and wildlife. Lots of birds and dolphins.

We have used the shell key shuttle twice now to get to our happy place! They are safe and courteous. We really enjoy shell Key. Our 12 and 10 year old girls love looking for sand dollars, and found a few the other day. Highly...More

I really don't want to use the term "cruise" but we enjoyed the pontoon boat, cruising the inner coastal, looking at the great houses, shell key and finally the sunset on the Gulf of Mexico. Word to the wise: take a jacket in the spring....More

Go to the very southern end of Pass a Grille by the pier after high tide, when the water is calm and shallow, you will find more shells than here for free. We did find a few sand dollars, most a bit dinged up, which...More

We had a great time here. The beach was not crowded and it kept our 12 and 10 year old busy for a few hours. They provide the bags for the shells, snorkeling masks, and a beach umbrella. They have 3 different shuttle times. The...More

Loved, the low-key beach vibe and the Marley playing in the background! Had a nice 1.5 hour tour and loved the sunset. No dolphins were sighted, but we had watched them play in front of us at Pass a Grill beach all day, so we...More

Lovely couple 21 years in the making. Knowledgeable about the area and wildlife. Thoroughly enjoyable time. Lots of dolphin sitings. Great way to spend a Sunday afternoon.
