Island Ferry offers ecotours on our Crystal Clear kayaks, and our low-emission pontoon boats. We do it with a personal level of service. Avoid the crowds with us! If you want to see dolphins and sunsets, or visit Shell Key, Egmont Key, Anna Maria Island, or downtown St Pete, please give us a call. We also do private VIP charters, perfect for birthdays and bachelorette parties. We also offer Burials at Sea, which we conduct in a sensitive and thoughtful way. Tours 7 days a week, year round. Major credit cards accepted. Free Parking. Coolers and BYOB WELCOME. Reservations required. All departures are from the Tierra Verde Marina at 198 Madonna Blvd, right next to The Island Grille Restaurant.

Clear Kayak Guided Tour in St. Pete

We've created a fascinating kayak tour in St Pete, centered on our Crystal Clear kayaks, giving you a fascinating look at the sea life throughout Shell Key preserve, and Fort Desoto park. Our professional guides provide an interesting narration of the local wildlife and ecosystem. The tours can range from 2 persons to 16 people, and are approximately 2 to 2 -1/2  hours long.  The tours will primarily operate in the protected waters and mangroves tunnels of the Shell Key Wildlife Preserve in Pinellas County. An 1,800 acre preserve, these waters are well traveled by Dolphins, Manatees, Rays, as well as a variety of shore birds, including pelicans, egrets, herons, cormorants, osprey, and sometimes roseate spoonbills.

We celebrated a nice birthday sunset cruise. Dalton was an amazing guide, the couple that we were with great, and enjoying a glass of wine watching the beautiful sunset was a great ending to our St. Pete visit. Definitely recommend for any occasion.

The boat was great, the route the captain took was great and the sunset was beautiful. Captain played nice music along the way and a beautiful song at sunset. Only wish the captain had not spent the first 15 minutes talking about himself so that we could all take in the views

Captain Dalton was very informative on culture and history of the Florida! We saw dolphins and went snorkeling. We weren’t to good at it though and the water was too sandy to see much haha. Be careful the tide was like a workout! He grabbed 2 crab out of the water and flipped
