Pass a grille is at the end of a peninsula with the beautiful Gulf of Mexico in one side and intercoastal waters on the other. The sandy beaches, protected sand dunes and easy accessibility to the beach make this a 10 plus spot once you get here. They are currently doing road construction and this makes for a rough drive.... This is by far my favorite Beach in the Saint Petersburg area! I think it weeds out some traffic because you have to pay a toll if you go through Tierra Verde and you have to pay to park. $0.75 to cross the bridge and $1.50/hour. The sunsets are incredible and the beach is hardly ever packed. The only negative... More

Wow!!! All my kids (including husband) had fun searching all kinds of shells in the water. sand beach. you can also see Pelicans. A lot of restaurants all around. And a municipal parking affordable. This is a good place to go with children and teenagers. The water is not so much clear but the best beaches that we have been... More

I have been all over the world and many beaches under my belt. This is one of the best beaches in the world. Sand like flower and very clean, shells every where, it cannot get better then this.

Great place for shells! It is peaceful and very cheap to park there, $2 per hour. We really enjoyed it!

Talk about a perfect beach! It looks like it jumped off the postcard. Quaint beach town at the end of the line! They saved the best for last! Love it here!

I love going to Pass-a-Grill Beach! I have a bum knee and this beach is ideal if you have physical limitations. It is not very wide so the walk to the water is short. It can have quite a few broken shells at the waters edge so I do recommend water shoes. There is a nice snack bar/restaurant and bathrooms.

Just a couple of miles from St Pete's beach and it is less crowded but still has the great water and sand. There are a couple of quaint restaurants nearby and they have one on the beach as well. On the other side is Merry Pier which is good for fishing
