Don't go here if you want a commercial vacation! We stayed in a little bungalow and walked or ride bikes everywhere! It was the perfect vacation!!

If you are lucky enough to find a parking space (pay to park), you will enjoy a less congested beach experience than at the St. Pete Beach, just to the north. The beach here is not as wide - less distance from the road to the water. Do the "stingray shuffle" as you wade in the water and always leave... More

We loved this end of St. Pete Beach. Quiet and mostly residential with a few small hotels, good restaurants and some cool boutiques. The beach was clean and well maintained. There are fishing trips and excursions to Shell Key from Merry Pier. Great sunsets can be seen from the beach or some of the local restaurants that line the street.... More

I would consider it hidden, but this is a very nice quiet beach to just kick back, relax and let the sun do its thing...

This beach is beautiful. The sand is white and the water had very small waves. It's perfect for families with younger children. There's a concession stand and a small store on the beach for those things you forget!! Parking does cost but it's a meter so it's not expensive. Definitely recommend!!

We ended up here on a tip a month or so back,. went mid-week, so the crowd was very light, water was gorgeous, sand was perfect. tons of sea life around, sheepshead, porgies, conch, lightning whelk and dolphins in the distance

I was told to visit here by quite a few people for the amazing shells. I am not sure if the sea grass had somehting to do with it but all of the shells were broken. The water was not clear and it had boat fuel in it. I prefer Indian Rocks beach, not as crowded, easier to park, and... More

This beach was awesome! I saw a manatee and was able to stand directly next to it in the water. I saw some small stingrays and the crowd that gathers here is pretty awesome. People were friendly and there is a little snack shack that sells everything (including beer). There are shops and restaurants galore!

Love the beach here, but can be hard to find a parking spot on a busy weekend. Parking is easy with the pay stations and the water is great. There are bathrooms and a cute little concession that even has beer and wine. Make a day of it. It is well worth the visit.
