Today was not a good day to be at the beach. However, we braved it and walked 8th street.
There have been some changes in the shops, some are gone, one Restaraunt has been gone for a long time. Other Restaraunt were not open.
This is a very calm beach, which lots of wild life (birds, fishes, dolphins, molluscs and even a manatee passed by me in the shallow waters...), white sand and good infrastructure of hotels and restaurants.
Love this area. It’s quite clean friendly people, good restaurants. The beach is great not over crowed. Very relaxing place to vacation. Great places to rent. I have rented my place for times. It’s a short 3 minute walk to the beach. GreT all around...More
After you come across the causeway, take a left at the Don Ceasar! You won't be disappointed! Nice beach, a little less crowded and crazy than the St Pete beaches. Lots of cool shops and restaurants , all in walking distance.

Clean, good parking options, and a variety of spots for food and beverage make this long, sandy beach the best for walking, sunning, shell-seeking, or just making a drive-through with breakfast or lunch on the access street.
