The hotel is nice, the place is full of activities but it seems like they have an excuse everyday not to use this attraction. low tide, strong current, every single day of our stay the park wasn't open. very disappointing. At least it should be advice that due to any tiny weather situation you would be missing this

We stayed at TW for 4 days and the "water park" wasn't put out once. They have a whole list of reasons why they won't. This time, apparently the water in the Gulf of Mexico was too low for four days. Do not expect it as a regular amenity at TW. It is occasional only.

While Im not sure I would call this a watermark, the collection of a variety of inflatables floating on the gulf was so much fun our kids went back the next day. Cost is not bad for all the fun they had. If you don't use the slides etc you can still swim out and float around (better option) or... More

This is one of the best parts of the TradeWinds Resort for the kids because the waves are not very big this allow kids to have fun all day long in a safe place.

The kids had a blast. It gives the kids something to do at the beach. Little annoyed that it cost extra even after paying 50.00 a day for resort fees, but the kids liked it. My son who is 10 has the most fun, my teenager had fun for a bit but then it got 'boring' for her. Wasn't very... More

Kids had fun.. slightly over priced.. but good activity for them to get some good exercise. The probably would have done it again if we let them.. maybe the next day.

Kids made friends that they insisted on hanging out with the entire time while on this water park. Use lots of sunscreen, kids won't want to get off!

It was actually April 2014 we were there for spring break, one cool, cloudy week with rain :( Floating Water Park didn't get much use that week. It's closed down on days with high winds, which is a good thing. Looks like loads of fun. Too bad there's a fee if you're a guest at the Tradewinds. You pay enough... More
