Fun 4 hour trip with family visiting

Had family in town including two young boys (8 and 12). We took the 4 hour trip so that it'd be just enough fishing without being too long of a day in the heat for the kids. The... read more

Two days ago, I went on the all-day fishing charter with the Miss Pass-A-Grille. I tried the half-day two years ago, and wanted to see what the full-day was like The full-day has fewer young children aboard; they travel farther out, catch more fish, and catch bigger fish. Same as the half-day, they supply all the gear, bait, and expertise... More

We had such a great trip! Caught lots of gray snapper. Boat has bathrooms on board and the staff were fast and friendly to help with any issues (bait, remove fish, fix reels, etc). Make sure to bring your own water, snack, and sunscreen. They'll clean your fish so you can get them cooked up at a local restaurant (which... More

We were visiting in July so there is no way to catch big fish unless you go out ALL DAY. We only wanted a 1/2 day charter so we took this one. These guys will get you on the fish, we caught Snapper and Grouper. The captain and his deck handled 30 people fishing at one time, that's a lot... More

I had never been deep sea fishing so I suppose maybe I had something different in my mind. I'm used to lake and river fishing. This trip was kind of like going out on the lake and catching 20 bluegill, except your fishing pole is for 20 pound catfish. I mean we caught several fish, but they were just small... More

My wife and I started taking fishing trips on Miss-a-Grille a number of years ago when we used to just vacation here and it was great back then but now with the addition of Alex and Hunter it has reached an even higher level. The whole crew helps everyone, old and young, experienced and notice and makes sure all have... More

My wife and I had a wonderful time with Capt Randy and deck hands Hunter and Alex (aka Thumper). We tool the 1/2 day fishing trip. It was my wife's first "deep sea" excursion. It was just the right amount of time for a beginner. I had a lot of fun too. Lots of snapper. Grouper and shark were caught.... More
