I will always rent boats in the Pine Island Sound from Monroe canal Marina after the way they took care of me and my family. Nathan was very knowledgeable about the Pathfinder, took my calls, knowledgeable about marinas and conditions in Pine Island Sound, price was excellent, completely available during the week when I had questions about the boat or Marinas. This added a degree of comfort I have not seen anywhere else.

Fun day on the water. Wife's birthday and a favorite thing is being on a boat. The Marina is close to open water so not a lot of time is wasted getting to intercoastal. Young lady at desk suggested a little island not far south of outlet to anchor and have our picnic lunch. It was a delight.
Boat was clean, well maintained. Only issue is it's a heavy boat and not real responsive at low speeds. I was oversteering it at first but quickly learned to turn and wait for it. Once on plane it cruised pretty well.
Leaving the island anchor spot, observed a wonderful pod of dolphins being very playful.
Not a cheap afternoon but memorable and very enjoyable.

Rented a center console in September and January for a day and the Useppa deck boat for a week in January. Monroe Canal Marina is awesome. The staff is very helpful and answered all our questions. We were new to boating on the Gulf and in the channels since we are from the Midwest and only boat on lakes. The boats were clean and in great condition. Can't say enough nice things about this marina.

I am a very experienced boater and visit Pine Island more than once every winter. We don't always bring our own boat and so we rent from Monroe Canal Marina when we want to go boating. It is a small marina that is suitable for boats primarily in the 15' - 25' range and they have a full array of goods and services that cover most boating needs, in addition to a small fleet of rental boats.
All of the employees are very approachable and helpful, and very patient answering tourist questions. They don't sell new boats so they can focus on service and they are good at it !
I highly recommend this marina. They are also close to two or three restaurants on the Monroe Canal that have boat parking, and they have ethanol-free gas for boats.

Monroe Canal Marina was a fantastic boat rental experience out of Pine Island! They got us the boat we wanted and on our way with a detailed map and excellent suggestions on stops and routes. We had lunch at Cabbage Key and cocktails on North Captiva. The icing on the cake was the pod of dolphins we encountered as we headed back after a perfect day on the water. Out boat was in top notch shape and their suggestions for things to do and see were excellent - highly recommend!!!

The staff is very accommodating and friendly under the busiest of times. We will return to rent a boat from them again as it was such a great experience.
We had a weekly rental of the 20’ Captiva Sundeck… lots of room and very comfortable for four very large people.

Monroe Canal Marina was made our experience on pine island memorable. Not only were they very accommodating to our family but they were friendly, knowledgeable, and very professional! The boats were clean good electronics and very well kept. Their advice on fishing and sites to see were great! We had one small issue with the boat that they took care of right away and made sure we were well taken care of.

My wife an I rented a deck boat for the full day. Explored the mangroves for a little fishing, had lunch at Grandma Dots on Sanibel Island and hung out on Picnic Island for a quick swim. If you aren't used to deck boats - they don't trach very well a slow speed. The boat was in good shape and everyone was friendly and knowledgeable.

Very convenient and we were able to go to Sanibel and Ft Myers’s beaches. The other Marina in Bokeelia did not allow us to visit these places. Will rent from them again! Great store with clothes, hats, stickers, drinks, fishing gear too!

This is the third time I have rented from them! Their boats are in excellent condition, and they entertained all my dumb questions with a smile. I have rented a boat from a different business in the Fort Meyers area before, and it broke down out in Pine Island sound. I'll be renting from Monroe Canal Marina the next time I go to Pine Island.

Im looking to rent a smallish boat (center console or skiff) for solo inshore fishing. I have a fair amount of experience on the water and my own fishing gear. I own a 20' Grady White but it is on Cape Cod
We will arrive Monday April 6th and headed out the following Friday.
I was definitely born before 1988.
What have you got?
What is the cost?
I notice one place that says "no gulf access"
Havent looked at a map yet, however, I'd like access to the gulf.
Please advise
Thanks
Tom W.

Monroe canal marina has 22 ft Pathfinder running in the low 300.00 to 375.00 for the 1/2 to full day. I've run both of their 22 ft boats had a blast with my granddaughter and fam. Once you hit the end of the canal you are in Pine Island Sound. With easy access to the Gulf from any of the cuts.
The boats have GPS. Fishfinder lives wells etc. The marina has every bait you need.
