We will return here again in a few years, without our kids, great spot for a couple. Not much for little kids to do. Blue Parrot was horrible for us. Ice cream shop was cool, staff were the friendliest on the island

We visited several beaches and state parks on our trip and all were very nice. Lots of shells but also lots of bitting bugs. Bring spray.

This state park has nice bathroom facilities as well as picnic tables. The beach is lovely with white sand and shells.

The sand is not white like Destin. Where are the lifeguards? Animals on the beach, really - we want to touch poo. First time for the family and sure we will not be back.

Pristine sugar sand beaches and beautiful dunes and view of the bay! Go early, then you can leave and return until close later that day.

Nice and peaceful however we are used to Crystal Clear Blue Water the water was kind of gross in this area and I got eaten alive by yellow flies.

This is one of the finer of the State Park system. The long, pristine beach is great for walking, shelling or just sunning. The access points from the parking are convenient. There are ample restrooms . Picnic areas, gazebos, hiking trails, boat ramps. Camp sites....More

Our horseback ride at sunset was cancelled so we went here for the beautiful sunset and it was fantastic. Went to lol for shells next day but tide was high. Best to go at low tide

We drove through the park (there is a fee) and stopped at one of the beaches where we could do some beach combing for seashells. The sand is white, clean and soft and the water is warm. We saw lots of marine birds, and some...More

We went to the beach access across from the campground access road and walked as far to the tip of the island as we could walk since the tip of the island did have as much foot traffic.

Yes there are sharks, but they don't (generally) bother people.
