My husband and I enjoyed it here so much we decided to go back this Labor Day weekend. Loved the beaches, so quiet and felt very private. It took many months to get a reservation at the camp ground which is very small. But, it's worth the wait. It's the way I imagine all of Florida was a hundred years... More

A great day of hiking and exploring can be had here. Beautiful grasses, beaches, trails through pines, picnic facilities, restrooms and lots of birds. Highly recommend.

This island is absolutely gorgeous. The parks beach is quiet and clean. Loved it. In town they offered tons of rentals to get out on the water.

This stretch of SGI is very clean and peaceful. There is a covered pavilion with picnic tables, bathrooms, and drink machines.

Very clean park. Ranger at checkin was not the friendliest. Maybe a cup of coffee and he would have been more pleasant. Lots of crabs to catch and fishing seemed pretty good around youth camp. We will go back.

This is such a beautiful park. The beaches are beautiful and kept so clean. The trails thru the woods and at the far end of the island are also so beautiful, great for bird watching -both sea birds and others (e.g. Bluebirds in the spring, bald eagles and osprey and many many more). The public facilities are also excellent- picnic... More

I cannot say enough about this place. We like to be by ourselves and it was like our own private beach, it was absolutely beautiful! There were many different access point and it made it easy to get to the beach. If we had a camper I would definitely want to camp here.

For years our family has vacationed at St George Island and this visit I finally visited the State Park! I've always been curious but we usually pack so much into our trip we somehow run out of time each year. It was definitely worth a visit, and I can see why it gets such accolades for a state park. It... More

This is a great place to camp. We were here last week for 11 nights. Be sure to back bug spray, and know that it's Florida. It's HOT this time of year... but the beach was amazing. Great campground hosts were available. You can buy ice in the campground for $3 a bag. Not too bad in my opinion. We... More
