Lovely long sweeping beach that goes for miles. We attended just after hurricane Irma so the beach was very quiet which was nice. As a result however, unfortunately, can't comment on how busy it would normally be. Worth a visit.

My husband & I visit yearly & just love St Augustine Beach! Off-season is great, less traffic, quiet, clean beaches & wonderful restaurants. Plenty of activities during the day & at night.

We love to walk the beach in the morning, and you can find so many shells on the shores of St. Augustine. The beach never felt crowded; however, you can drive on the beach so be aware. Awesome sunrise !!

We really enjoyed sitting out by the pier and taking in the sites. The tides were high since it was right before Irma, but the view and cleanliness of the beach was great. There were quite a few people but it wasn't crowded at all...More

The views is breath-taking, and the water is great. Being near or on the pier is a treat for looking at the incredible ocean movement.

This beach never ceases to amaze me. Today I saw a gopher tortoise walk a great distance to go into the ocean, they can't swim and no one seems to know why they take a dip every now and then. Please if you are driving...More

I've been to many beaches in my lifetime, so giving this one above average was a stretch, but the pet friendly aspect pushed it over average. The beach is wide and didn't feel crowded. The shores were clean and the waves were fun to play...More

We didn't see any snakes in the grass but there are turtle eggs areas and bird nesting areas so snakes are likely. Having said that, we aren't supposed to go walking around the grass on the dunes areas because it destroys... More

There was no boardwalk that I saw. There is a pier you can go out on for a fee. Small shop at the end of the pier amd some shops along the road. Also lots of places in town. Have fun, I enjoyed our stay.
