Dog friendly beach

This is a somewhat typical Florida East Coast beach. It is easily accessible and even walkable from several nearby hotels on A1A. The water has nice waves for boogie boarding, maybe some surfing, and other such activities. The beach is large enough that it doesn’t feel overcrowded. It just had too much seaweed and the water was too brown for... More

I fell in love with this beautiful beach. It was clean and quiet. I went during the week when there were not a lot of people. It was perfect.

Coming from Texas this beach was beautiful!!! There are two picnic benches and restrooms . With a shower!!! We didn't have to bring back half the beach with us. We will be visiting again. Two adults and 3 toddlers.

Very calm and nice beach very cold water though. Plenty of shells all around to pick up and collect. Family beach and also there is a water play area for young children.

We stayed at several resorts right on the beach in Florida on this trip. In St. Petersburg, Naples and Palm Beach. The last two suffered a lot of erosion in recent years and were reduced to a narrow strip of sand. Here, in St.Augustine, the beach is beautiful, wide strip and covered with white sand. Much like the beautiful St.... More

It was a fun place for all ages. I don't think it would make a difference if it was incredibly warm or overcast. Walking on the beach and picking up shells visiting with others is a real way to relax via Florida

We started coming to St. Augustine two years ago and really love this city. The beaches are beautiful too. Nice and big and the way the tides break there are always little sand bars for the kids to play in without going too far into the ocean. The water is always clean and you can always find an array of... More

Great place to truly kick back and enjoy the endless sandy beaches of northern Florida... Rent beach bikes and enjoy miles of the golden coast line from the fishing pier & sand dunes to the lighthouse & beyond!
