Great beach. Clean. Wide allowing lots of space for people to set up and not be overly crowded even on a holiday weekend. Several lots to park but gets pretty full by 11 am. Not many restaurants on the beach.

We visit St. Augustine every year! It is a very clean and uncrowded beach! We love it here because we love walking on the beach to find shells when the sun comes up!!

Our children had a great time jumping over the waves and collecting seashells. The sand was soft and didn't get hot on our feet.

Enjoyed the weekend on the beach. Relatively clean, very family oriented and on this weekend constantly patrolled by the police in jeeps, trucks, and 4 wheelers. Like it and will define return again.

What a beautiful big long beach ... Huge rolling waves. I loved it. Lots of walk ways to the beach and so wonderful to see the wild life that play in the sand dunes....

This is an absolutely beautiful beach. The sand is fine and grayish white. The beach is flat and is excellent (albeit very hard) for walks and bike rides. I recommend wearing running shoes for walking as the hard sand can mess up your feet if...More

We love St. Augustine Beach because the beach is so wide and not "shelly"...makes it very nice for early morning or late evening walks.

I am interested in staying at the KOA in St. Augustine, has anyone stayed there or seen it? Is it easy to get to the beach from there?

The St Augustine Beach Hotel welcomed dogs, and also recommended good restaurants in the area, so I would ask them about places where digs are welcome. Certainly the beach outside the door there is a great place for dogs.
