It’s fine
Aug 2021 • Friends
So friends and I visiting the city decided to
Go to the movies spur of the moment to see “Respect”. I read all reviews of this theater and thought “meh” - I’ve heard better.

Surprise! It was perfectly fine. It was a movie theatre. Period. Cheap (not in price) butter smelling popcorn, soda fountain, etc.

The seats were perfectly comfortable - and this was a two plus hour movie. Only complaint was I could hear the action movie playing in the next theatre when my movie was in quieter moments.

Good experience, simple
Jun 2021
Unlike the theaters in Chicagoland, this one still has the old fashioned seating. I like that because you don't need to make reservations. Plenty of seating, not a lot of people, clean, simple experience. The food and beverages are wildly expensive, but other than that it was great.

Bad experience.
May 2021 • Couples
My gf and I were going to watch ryu the last dragon on 5/8/21 the lady up front said we were in theater 2. When we got in there, there was a private watch party inside for a kids birthday. I went up front and told her what was going on I asked for my money back and she said no. Instead, she kicked the private party out and it made a whole big scene making us look like the ones at fault when it was her mistake. She also try to get us to get her manager like it was our job. The private party got mad at me and my gf. Idk why she just didn't put us in the area the private party was supposed to be in.
Overall it was a bad experience and the lady up front was super rude.

Epic Drive in From start to finish
Jul 2020
We saw the iconic movie Star Wars Episode 5 at the Drive in movie. These are the following tips you will need to know before you go
Tickets must be purchased in advance and online with a credit card. I did not receive any confirmation so be sure to print a confirmation out. Everyone I saw had a paper confirmation. Also review the FAQs the terms of service link doesn’t work.lListen closely to the radio station info for sound. There is be no announcements or signage as reminders. You cannot use a mobile device for sound. Only the car radio or portable radio works with the sound system. Don’t expect the movie to be on a screen. It will be projected on the building in an area painted white. Purchase your ticket early for self distancing. People were sitting in lawn chairs and cars parked side by side. Thank God we purchase early and had lots of space for self distancing. Be patient our movie started 30 minutes late.

Better Communication Needed
May 2020 • Family
I hope this review helps with Epic’s processes. My family and I drove 45min to their drive-in in theater only to be turned away because we had not bought tickets online. Epic’s communication with the public needs serious improvement when try to function during this pandemic. That said, there were plenty of missed opportunities to communicate their movie was sold out. I called twice only to get a general voicemail stating to leave a message. The website gave an error message about no tickets being available online but, it did not say the show was completely sold out; another missed opportunity to clearly communicate to the public.

When I arrived, the parking attendant said they tried to remove the listing from the website, which obviously did not happen. The other frustrating thing about this is the fact that the show was sold out at midnight the night before according to the parking attendant. That said, there was more than enough time to clearly communicate the status of this show times and I wasted time and gas coming.

I think the drive-in movie concept is a great idea for Epic to take on during these times of social distancing. The execution however, needs improvement. I would suggest to reserve parking spaces for onsite purchases or clearly communicate on the website when shows are sold out to ensure people who can’t be served are not arriving. I don’t even know if Epic does onsite sales for their drive-in. If they don’t, the website should communicate that as well.

GREAT CLEAN THEATRE!
Jul 2019 • Couples
This is a very clean nice theater, We have the Warren in our area so I use it as my level of judgment when it comes to theaters. We wanted a nice place to see "Yesterday" and we decided to catch it here at the EPIC we'd never experienced this company before but the theater was really clean and the staff more friendly than about 80% of the places we've gone too! Most theaters are not huge on service but this theater was very clean the restrooms maintained and the snack bar plentiful with lots of choices. The chairs comfortable and relaxing! Our theater was full but we enjoyed the movie and the experience! I would recommend checking out this theater if your looking to catch a flick! Epic is not the greatest movie theater i've ever been too but it's certainly in the top 20!

The film looked and sounded great. Popcorn and Coke were tasty. But the theater is in bad need of updating... seats are wearing out, sink didn't work in the bathroom, carpet looks shabby...etc.
