Dion Moore-The Ancient City's Master Story-Teller will guide you through the dark and haunted streets of St Augustine to hear ghost stories, tall tales, and legends. Monday through Saturday night at 8:00pm. Reservations are suggested.

Unfortunately, we had to cancel our trip to Florida due to the pandemic - but I wanted to leave a positive review for how kind Dion was about it. He understood my family needing to cancel in advance and gave us a refund with no difficulty. In a time that is so uncertain, the kindness and understanding he showed was so lovely. We cannot wait to make it down for a tour when it is safe for us to travel!!

During these off the wall times well during anytime you the guest, the customer, the consumer will always be right Always!! My job is to understand and work with people that’s why I turn away so many because I stick to the 15-20 person groups. There are companies here blasting out 40+ group size, no refunds, take, take, and take more giving nothing back. My guest will always be first with me. Haunted Carriage Ride- Best Ghost Tour in St. Augustine

My girlfriend and I took the Haunted Carriage Ride. Our guide was Lee Henry. This is a 1 hour horse-drawn carriage ride that starts and ends at the Bridge of Lions. During the ride we traveled through the city's back alleys and Lee pointed out many buildings and told us of their haunted history. This was the 3rd ghost tour I've taken in St. Augustine and it was definitely the best out of the 3. This is a historical ghost tour. Those expecting theatrics and jump scares like other tours should look elsewhere. I recommend the haunted carriage for couples.

Fun Tour !

Dion is an excellent tour guide and story teller. My family and I really enjoyed our tour. As a matter of fact, this is the second time we've done a tour with him.

My only recommendation to Dion would be to not bring up politics.
But on the whole, I would definitely recommend this tour. It was fun and informative and a little scary :-)

Thanks Dave for your review. I was only discussing Saturday Night Live take off on Trump and Biden. How Lorne Michaels and cast with Alec Baldwin and Jim Carrey being our president and contender would do a take off that’s all. Not into politics just think it’s odd I read the Saturday Night Live thing on Wednesday and Trump being sick on Thursday. I am sorry but I was poking fun. Total disappointed!!!!
We booked the carriage ride ghost tour a month before our trip to make sure we it wasn't sold out from all the great reviews we read on TripAdvirsor, but it was all for nothing. I paid the $40 in advance over the phone with Dion and was sent a conformation of payment and the date, time and address to meet up for the tour. When we showed up to the booth the guy working told us that they did not have a tour booked for that night and Dion was sick. He was very nice and apologized for everything, but told us there was nothing he could do. I understand people get sick and this could not be helped, but someone could of at least called and told us that the tour would not take place and refunded my money. This entire situation was very disappointing because this was our last night in town and it was too late at night to make other arrangements for a ghost tour. I hope that Dion is feeling better and all is well, but this was major let down for our trip. Keeping my fingers crossed that a see a refund on my credit card.

Yes I am so sorry this happened to you. This was booked out for awhile and I do deserve this review. I did refund your card and you should see it by now. I was very ill and in the hospital because people do get sick sometimes. I hope in the future this will never happen again because for 15 years of doing business in St Augustine I was the one at fault, a complete oversight on my part. I do hope you will return to our little city and give me another chance. Again I am very very sorry this happened to you and I really feel bad on how your vacation turned out. Best Tour in St Augustine

Dion is just an incredible story teller and all around showman. He really gets into character and brings all of his stories to life. We really enjoyed how much history was brought into his stories, grounding everything in reality, but still terrifying. His tour was a great addition to our Labor day weekend getaway and was an incredible value. We spent the rest of the time walking around thinking about the stories he told us. Highly recommend spending some time with Dion!

Thank you so much for your wonderful 5 Star Review and from the ghost tours you guys have been on it means so much. I love all the history around each and every one of my stories. I don't like Na- Sayers who try to bring you down and try to bust your stories. With History backing it up you can't go wrong. I don't try to ram ghost down your throat instead the belief of energy and that energy never dying. I like being happy and being around positive things, too much bad stuff out there so I stay on the good side. Thanks again. Dion

Dion was very much able to spin a story. He was entertaining and told a great story, however, we were really wanting to go on a ghost tour, not an informative history of St. Augustine tour. If you are interested in a ghost tour, avoid this attraction at all costs because you will be disappointed. However, if you want a fun, entertaining carriage ride that tells you all about the gory history of St. Augustine, then this attraction would be perfect for you. I do think the cost is a little high, especially when encouraged to tip the carriage drivers.

This tour was amazing! Visited last night! Dion Moore was fantastic! This tour is a must! It is filled with history and fright! Took pictures where Dion told us to, came home and looked and saw what he said we would see! Really good tour for $15! He makes it seem so real, even if you are not into all that ghost stuff.

This was an outstanding experience,and Dion is a wonderful storyteller! We were looking for more than your average Ghost Tour, and Dion did not disappoint. I have visited St. Augustine many times but this was the first time bringing our daughters. We wanted a tour led by someone who knows and loves St. Augustine, and would be faithful to the city's history. Dion was wonderful. He is a master storyteller, and gave just the right mix of historical accuracy and storytelling flair. He was also very considerate and attentive and struck the perfect balance between being respectful and age appropriate for the children, but also spooky and intriguing enough to keep them interested. He also kept things historically accurate (and it was clear he does his research) and authentic. I would definitely recommend this tour to friends.
