Self tour. Very brief. Four samples. Friendly and excellent staff providing the sign in and samples. It was an ok visit. Attached restaurant was very pricey.

We were looking forward to seeing how it was made but there was nothing. Just sampling a thimble size drink. You could pay for more. But the sample was so small that it was hard to taste, so we didn't buy anything.

Like Bourbons, Gin, Rum and a whole host of other items? This is the place for you. Quick free tour of the distillery with several sample tastings as you go. Historic old Ice House now serving a greater purpose.

We did the guided tour, which was excellent. Tons of information packed into 90-ish minutes, including all the unique factors of making bourbon in Florida. Highly recommend doing the guided tour.

We went there and the rum and, vodka was very good as was most other drinks. I'd recommend the tasting thru the different set ups they had at different stations. We spent a few hundred dollars there however, when we went to the bar at the end, the bartender, she was anything but warm. Gave us that nice, but cold feeling. If we were to go there again, we'd skip that part. Everything else was pretty good, especially the liquor we added to our bar.

I highly recommend a visit to the St. Augustine Distillery. The free self-guided tour and tasting is a must. However, due to a disappointing experience over the Christmas holiday, I would be hesitant to recommend purchasing any St. Augustine Distillery spirits online from their website.
Due to complex rules and regulations regarding the shipping of alcohol, St. Augustine Distillery uses Speakeasy Company, an online retailer with fulfillment warehouses across the country, to ship their spirits. I placed 2 orders on 12/8/22 as Christmas gifts, one shipping to Arizona, one shipping to Colorado. The gift to AZ was received by the recipient on 12/12/22, four DAYS after I placed the order. The CO gift was received by the recipient on 1/4/23, four WEEKS after I placed the order.
Speakeasy uses regional carriers to deliver product. I don’t know what the problem with the Colorado carrier was because all of my inquiries to Speakeasy were met with the same response – “We apologize for the inconvenience. Thank you for your patience”. They were unable to provide tracking or delivery information. Frustrated by the lack of information from Speakeasy, I contacted St. Augustine Distillery twice, once via email and once by phone. Unfortunately, they completely washed their hands of the problem and would not contact Speakeasy on my behalf.
In summary, I feel that if St. Augustine Distillery wants to continue to grow their brand through online sales utilizing the Speakeasy platform, they need to maintain control of how their product reaches their customer. And they need to be accountable throughout the entire process. Afterall, the label on the bottle says St. Augustine Distillery, not Speakeasy.

Are you still bottling hand sanitizer? Have family in Ohio in need- she can't find anywhere. I saw on one of the local news stations you had switched over to make it during the shut down.
Thanks in advance
