What's there not to like about a perfect replica Spanish Galeon in St. Augustine, the oldest city in America!

Mom & I went on a day trip just to see this ship. Awsome! Beautifully built, very impressive. Lots of diplays with information on how life was aboard ship. Only downside, if elderly visitor, may have trouble getting around on board, not ment for seniors....More

The galleon was built in Spain and after its initial visit to the US was taken by Spanish St.Augustine and decided to make it it's home port. Consequently, it is in St. Augustine four or so months a year. A must for any naval historian.

We just accidently ran into it in the harbour of Savannah, GA. It was $10 to hop on board but we would have been willing to pay much more for the unique experience. It is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to look around and to talk to...More

This was an unexpected find that I had not seen before. I enjoyed waling around the ship very much and the children liked it as well.

Encountered El Galeon in the US Virgin Islands, an unexpected treat. Built over three years using original techniques and materials where possible El Galeon is a fascinating replica of the ships that for three hundred years linked Spain to her colonies. Whilst there was no...More

Impressive looking ship, not a whole lot to see if you board. $10.00 to board wasn't too bad. Saw the ship in Savannah. Too bad they moored in front of the ugliest building on River St. the hyatt.

Thought it was an interesting visit but very expensive for such a short tour. Nobody showed us around or talked about the ship. Always nice to get tidbits from the staff, but they did not seem to pay attention to the tourists.

First thing I will say is don't pay full price, we had half off coupons so 4 of us cost $20. The standard price is kind of high for what you get, you get to walk around on a really nice ship and see the...More

Sadly the ship will be in Quebec during your visit. You can review the schedule on the ship's website. I do recommend taking one of the boat tours out of the Marina while you are there. It is a great town with lots to do... More
