After demolition, new structure under construction - scheduled to open in the Fall of 2017

I almost couldn't find it since I was looking for the water wheel and didn't see it. The old Milltop Tavern and Listening Room is gone, but the new building is under construction and seems to be coming along. I understand that they are going to incorporate the old waterwheel on the grounds. Let's hope it "softens" the "new" look.... More

Bar missing a number of brands due to renovations. Service was fair. Food was average to poor. Place felt dirty. Messed up a soup order. ( go figure). Everything in plastic. Typical beach bar. Nothing better. Would not go back. Don't take Amex.

A great place to relax with a drink of your choice and listen to live music both in the afternoon and evening

Enjoyed out lunch, sitting on the second floor over looking the old Fort, and people watching. A very nice day - not to hot - and got a chance to chat quietly. I ate the Clam Chowder, and a "Special" Turkey burger. While the wife had the chicken sandwich - very tasty.

We have a tradition of going to the Milltop for beers whenever we are in Saint Augustine. They have a great patio that you can look at the Fort and listen to live music. The place never disappoints in location and feel good ambience.

Food was good, music is great, but the furnishings need some serious help!! Raggedy tables with bench seats on uneven brick flooring made things very uncomfortable!

When I visit St. George street in historic St. Augustine, I alway have lunch at the mill top. The food is good and you have an excellent view of the fort.

This is a 'must stop' if you are visiting St Aug. The food is 'okay' and the beer selection is 'okay'. The location and the experience is the draw. Warning... the place is filthy.. from the restrooms to the second floor bar it is dirty enough to give you the creeps. I can't speak for the kitchen.

Ended up here last night with a group of folks. The service was spot on at first, but they lagged after the drinks were served. Ordered a French Dip sandwich to split between my fiancee and I. The au jus was WAY too salty. It was inedible. The sandwich itself wasn't bad. When I asked for the check they had... More

I have been to St. Augustine several times and I have always wanted to go to this bar. We finally went up the stairs to The Milltop Tavern. The view was gorgeous and you can see the Fort and the bay. There was a $2 cover charge. The music was good, but loud. If you sat way from the music... More
