Anastasia State Park includes 1,600 acres of rich ecosystems and abundant wildlife. Explore up to four miles of pristine beach, the estuarine tidal marsh teeming with plant and animal life, or the self-guided nature trail which takes you through the maritime hammock and onto ancient sand dunes. You can also visit the Coquina Quarry, an archaeological site where coquina rock was mined to help construct the nearby Castillo de San Marcos National Monument, earning it a spot on the National Register of Historic Places.

At Anastasia, there are many recreational activities to enjoy including hiking, swimming, beachcombing, bird watching, and much more. The campground contains 139 campsites all located within the beautiful maritime hammock and just a short walk or bike ride from the beach.

Anastasia has concessions to provide guests with rental opportunities of bicycles, paddleboards, kayaks, sail boats and canoes. There is also a grill area and a small gift shop for visitors to take home an Anastasia memory. The grill location also provides Wi-Fi for visitors' use.

We love camping here in Anastasia State Park! Beautiful, secluded camping sites, clean showers and restrooms, laundry facilities, close to the beach and all activities. Very close to historic downtown St Augustine. One of our very favorite campgrounds.

Went to this park after a long morning of sightseeing. They have a small gift shop and we were able to replenish our water and snack supply. The lady running this shop was very nice and inviting. The beach is awesome and not crowded at all. The breeze was so nice. There were a few kayakers and surfers to watch.... More

We arrived at night so it made it hard to see when backing in the trailer. Great camp sites, quiet, easy access to the beach from parking lot. Nice camp store with very friendly staff. Clean beaches, clean camp sites, very clean restrooms and showers. We'll worth the visit, we booked another camp site while we were here.

We stayed at site 129 which was a perfect location. A couple of sites from the playground and bathrooms. The playground was new and great for my 6 and 11 year old. The beach was a short ride away and it was beautiful. We had an amazing time. One day we took the bikes and rode to the fort. It... More

This was my favorite part of my trip to St. Augustine. The beach is pristine and the dunes are unspoiled. There were big waves and a beautiful scenery.

Our first time at park camping . Park is heavely wooded. Bath houses r clean ,with good water pressure . but most of the campsites r narrow and short , out of seven loops ,only 3 r good for rvs, we drove our bikes around and looked at them all, a lot of sites had low tree branches and a... More

This is a great state park on St. Augustine Beach with a lovely campground with water and electric hookups, a dump station, picnic areas, biking and walking and a great beach. They also have kayak rentals to take out on a salt lagoon. A perfect way to have a relaxing fun day, week or vacation.

We've been to St Augustine many, many times but this had never come up on our radar. IF you've missed it be sure to put it on your list for your next visit!
