Nice overview , learned some things, good selection of wines.
We went to this winery because they not only have sweet wines but import grapes to have bold reds also. We were pleasantly surprised how good the wine is. We did the free tasting with the tour then had the reserve selections for 5 dollars to try the petite Syrah and California cab. The petite Syrah was great and I ended up getting the cab from Monterey Definitely worth the stop.

Free Wine Tasting Tour with Great Wine
It was great to be able to do a free wine tasting. There is a free wine tasting and a paid wine tasting. The free one gets you a taste of about 6 different wines while the paid one allows you to try a few more. The tour started off with two dry wines, one red and one white. Then lead you upstairs to try some sweeter wines, both red and white. And ended with a tasting of their sherry. We enjoyed trying some new wines we've not had before and left with a few bottles to take home. The wine was reasonably priced for sale around $13 for most of them. Would recommend to try the wine tasting and see if you find a new wine to take home.

    Best entertainment in town!
Wonderful experience, the food, the wine. On the top floor outdoor patio. Great weather, excellent wait staff and music, couldn't have asked for a better experience! 'The Committee' band provided the music and they were the best of any of the live music I saw while in town for a couple of weeks. Excellent group playing popular cover songs.

    Interesting tour and wine tasting
We came across this winery on a trolley tour of St. Augustine Old Town. We did the wine tour which leads you through the winery and tastings at several different tasting stations. The people presenting the tastings were interesting to listen to about the wines and the winery itself. We liked the Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon and Pinot Grigio the best. The tour is complimentary and for $5 per person you can do a special wine tasting at the end of the complimentary tour. This was fun and we would recommend it! We did end up taking several bottles of wine home with us.

Excellent tour offering dry and sweet wines
We had such a great time doing the self guided tour at this winery, and they allowed us to bring our small dogs with us, which made it extra special. They offered sweet wines and dry wines on the tour. The tour was complimentary with some small tastings, but you could pay $5 to taste 3 of the premium wines and the pours were very generous. We were able to sit in the theater and watch the movie about how their wine is made while we sipped on our premium tastings. We will definitely come back here next time we are in Saint Augustine.

    Don't Miss It!
We did not do the tour (which is free) since time our was limited. However, the tastings (there is one without charge and another for $5 pp) upstairs was great. We did both, and the $5 tasting was well worth it. We found the food upstairs (inside & outside) creative and the service was fabulous...Thank you to Courtney. The music was excellent, VIBE RW is extremely talented and versatile with a vibe we totally enjoyed. This is one of those places that is on our list to return to.

Free wine tasting and tour. Great way to try an assortment of wine. Like what you tasted take some home with you. We order two boxes One red and one white on our way out of town. Note: do not leave wine in your car under the hot sun.

A very good winery, with a restaurant upstairs.
One of the better wineries I have been to. All the "free" samples were excellent. We didn't buy anything because it was the first stop on the walking trail. It was too late to stop on the way back. Not too far from the primary streets in St. Augustine too.

    An amazing, heartfelt visit
We had an amazing time. The free tour would have easily been worth $20 but it was free making it all the better. Then the $5 extra was so worth it. (We paid the extra $5 each for the glass) Tom was the most nice and genuine person ever and who, after watching the winery’s video, made the values of the winery come to life. Next time I visit Saint Augustine I will be coming here again!

Nice place for an outdoor lunch!
We attended the wine tasting first, which everyone who likes wine should do. After the tour, we also had the opportunity to try a few other wines. We ended up purchasing two wine glasses along with our three tastings for $20. I felt that was a really good deal. A couple of days later we went to the rooftop for lunch. My wife had the BLT with fries and I had the turkey sandwich with fries. Both lunches were enough for us not to have anything else the rest of the day! Make sure you don't miss this stop during your stay!

Stopped here while on the Red Train tour and our guide mentioned free wine tasting. Right up our alley. She forgot to mention however that you MUST go on the tour first in order to receive the free wine tasting. No option to pay for just the tasting either. So we waited the 10 minutes for the tour to start and we were guided upstairs to a room with a total group of 14 to watch a 10 minute video. This is a tour??? Very lame. The one thing we did notice during the video is that during the tasting they filmed they were pouring a very generous offering of wine. More about that later. After the video that was forced upon us began, about 14 other poeple joined in and either stood or made their way to seats in the middle of the video which appeard to be 10 years old or so. It's so boring even Allen our tour guide said he can't watch it again. So now our group is very large and after the lame video is done we go to the production area where we look at pallets full of wine in boxes. Made the video that much more interesting. But wait, next is the barrell room, where you see port aging in barrells and a tasting area you can not approach.. Are you serious? This is the tour we are forced to take??? Now about 45 mintues later we finally make our way to the tasting area and since there are so many of us we all have to double up. Now remember earlier I said we could not do a tasting without doing the tour? Two ladies were allowed to jointhe tasting without having to do the tour which brought out total group tasting at once to 32 people. Allen must like to drag things out because it took him a few boring stories, none wine related to get the tastings going. Now during the video upstairs the only promising thing I saw was a healthy pour of wine for tasting but since Allen doesn't watch the videos he didn't know about this and poured probably the smallest pour you could imagine. He also states that FL may be changing it's liqour laws that say you can only be a .5% ABV before you are considered legally impaired instead of .8% ABV. Pretty sure you'd be dead at either of those levels. I'm sure he meant .05 and .08 respectively but that did not help instill our trust in him for anything he said. Needless to say all the purchases that I had planned on making before the tour were out the window. I was really interested in the lighthouse bottle of Cabernet but after being there for close to and hour and a half was just waiting for the Red Train to arrive again. Do yourself a favor and just get a few glasses of wine at one to the other wine shops in town and you will be happier than any of these watered down wines. Drink what you like they say.....not any of these.

I did not have a bad experience here but the wines here are NOT good. If you know anything about wine...these wines are all $10 bottles basically which is fine but the taste of the wine is not good quality. We did not receive very much info from the people providing the wine tastings. We did the free tasting but also decided to pay $5 for a 2-wine taste which I liked the $30 bottle of cab you need to try-that was def worth it. I have tasted wines all over the world...you can tell the quality is just not there. This is for people who are not serious about wine and want to have a good time with their girlfriends.

My wife and I stopped by here recently while visiting St. Augustine. I preface this review by stating that my wife and I used to live in California where wine tasting can be a very pleasant experience where you take your time and learn about the wine, how it was made, and the winery you are visiting. This winery does not offer an actual 'tour' but simply has you walk above portions of their wine making areas on elevated catwalks. There are no signs explaining anything and no one to answer questions. The free wine tasting consists of a few of their wines spread over three stations where they pour a miniscule amount into a plastic cup (like you get with Vicks cough syrup). You can't smell anything in this type of container and there isn't enough in the sample to allow you to get a real idea of the feel and taste of the wine. You can pay for an additional tasting where they pour your samples into an actual wine glass but quite frankly this place just isn't worth your time in our opinion. While some of the wines were ok, the overall experience just isn't all that informative nor enjoyable. We recommend trying someplace else where they take their time and actually let you experience their wines and try to educate you about what they have made.

We would've liked to have tried the white wines that they have to offer, however, we were unable to because we didn't want to do a tour.
It took a while just to find that out as all the people working there didn't offer much information upon entering. A big group of people was at the downstairs wine pouring, so we were unable to approach the bar. When we were finally able to, we were told that if we wanted just a tasting, we had to go upstairs. So, we went upstairs. The bartenders there offered only 2 reds and a sangria for tasting for a $5.00 charge. We said we were not red wine drinkers and asked if we could just try the white. The answer is no! Only if you do a tour. They really need to get their act together if they are interested in selling their wine. Maybe the whites are so bad, they don't want you to taste them! For recommended length of visit, I would say a big zero. Not recommended.

If you drink fine wine or even average priced wine stay away from this "winery." I have made better tasting wine from concentrate in my kitchen. The wines are below average but the tour is mildly interesting.

Not surprised that is was an AWESOME experience. From the very first moment we walked in - we were made to feel welcome and at home. We went in as a party of 11, with 5 young children along and there was no issues with them tagging along and the entire team was very good to us and our children (that were extremely well behaved:)

Brian greeted us, suggested exactly what to do and just really blew us away with his sincere kindness and professional. Paola was also just wonderful; hospitable in every way.

We’ve visited the winery before about six years ago. We loved it then, and we loved it even more now!

We had just arrived in this beautiful town on a dreary day in January. Our friends suggested we walk to this place. As soon as you walk in, you are greeted by friendly staff and the winery has a very homey relaxed atmosphere. We did the tour, our guide was awesome but forgot his name!! The wine tasting was a pleasure, enjoyed it very much. A shame they can’t ship it to PA☹️

If nothing else, stop by and buy a bottle of sherry. But if you have time, take the tour, eat at the restaurant upstairs after 1 (music starts); taste the wines; check out the spices and sauces and buy & ship at least 6 bottles. If not, you will get home and regret not doing it.

What a blast. As soon as we walked in the door, Rory greeted us and asked if we were there for the tour. He was also our guide and checked us out with our purchases, multi tasking at it’s best. The tour was fun, wine tasting is always fun and informative. The rooftop restaurant was delicious and so reasonably priced. They have many apps to share, we did a warm bruschetta plate with raspberry sauce, bread and apple slices (would have appreciated a few more of those). And we each had a small salad, several choices. My only comment is, our tour started out with about 20 people and ended up with 36, a bit big. It starts with a movie about the winery and people kept coming in throughout the movie...once the doors close they should make people wait for the next tour. But, we had a blast, bought wine and loved our lunch.

We visited St Augustine for our 23rd wedding anniversary. We stopped here due to the great reviews. I was very disappointed. Our server barely stopped by to check on us and it took a long time to get our food and drinks. They didn't have the drinks we ordered and the appetizers we ordered came out one at a time. With the party size we had it was frustrating. Then, because there were 8 people in our party, they added gratuity to our check. I will not visit this establishment again. Poor and inadequate service.
