The first floor is all about Bob Hope which was a bit of a surprise but he must have been a big supporter of the Hall and we knew that he put on a PGA golf tournament yearly. The next floor was much larger and devoted to the members of the Hall in various ways. It was interesting that when... More

The World Golf Hall of Fame is definitely very interesting. Give yourself several hours to see everything. It is interesting even to those not interested in golf. Be sure to see the trophy room and step outside to take in the breathtaking view of the surrounding area.

Awesome display of golf history in a beautiful building. We were able to putt with balls and clubs from the 1800's, play a simulated hole from Pebble Beach, play an 18 hole putting course, and even got to try a 132 yard shot to an island green. Awesome time.

If you love the game and history of golf this is your Mecca. From the Bob Hope display (so well done you could spend a half day just there) to history of the game, balls, equipment, the Wall of Fame, the tournament displays, the swing simulator, the locker room. Be sure to put name atop The Masters Leader Board. Then... More

Went with a friend on one of the hottest days of the summer and this was a great place to cool down. The Bob Hope area was great and ended up spending a lot of time there. Seeing clubs and balls that were hundreds of years old. The history of the game and some of the original rules that were... More

We like golf so this was right up there! The exhibits are very good and interesting. The Bob Hope section was huge! So much stuff to see. If you like golf and it's history this is something to see.

We arrived at the World Golf Hall of Fame at 11AM and left 4 hours later. We could not believe how long we stayed. The Hall of Fame is excellent taking you from the early days of golf to the present. The Hall of Fame is interactive for guests. There are two putting greens inside and there is a scavenger... More

I've lived in St. Augustine for years and it finally took a friend's visit for me to finally make it to the HOF. Well worth the visit, even if you don't play a lot of Golf. Lots of great history, interesting exhibits, a decent snack bar/restaurant and even a little putting green course.

In the advertisement, famed professional golfer Gary Player says in reference to the World Golf Hall of Fame in St. Augustine, Florida: "If you love golf, you have to go." Well, as a sportswriter in the 1970s, I covered golf for the Chicago Daily News. I never played the game. But I really enjoyed watching and it and meeting some... More

Probably of no interest to nongolfers and only average interest to golfers. Lacks any sort of imaginative museum technology. A lot of photos. Paintings. Trophies. Very little to keep your interest. Probably my favorite part was the lockers of the Hall of Famers where they picked what got exhibited in their lockers. Each shows the golfer's individual personality.
