My wife and I are not golfers. We visited the World Golf Hall of Fame when our golfing friends came to visit. Although we recognized the names and faces of pro golfers from the 1960's to the present, we know very little about the game. We thought we'd be bored but we weren't. We can understand why golfers would visit... More

I was really looking forward to our visit here and was disappointed when all was said and done. First of all, the entertainment complex that sits across the lake from the main entrance is 99% vacant and isn't the best look upon our arrival. Included with the admission charge is a round on the 18 hole natural grass putting course.... More

I stayed there chiefly for the IMAX theater and got a lot more than expected. I was not familiar with the area but the service at the Mariot provided me with information and even a ride to the theater if I had so needed.

My husband I visited since we were staying in the hotel next to it. He loves golf and enjoyed visiting the Hall of Fame. Walking around the pond and seeing all the signatures of the players past and present. The staff was friendly and very pleasant. The exhibits are displayed nicely and was very enjoyable. I must say my husband... More

Dragged my wife who is not a golfer and figured I would run through this place in an hour or so. Spent a good part of four hours and she enjoyed it and I loved it. Worth the trip for any golf fan

The hall of fame exhibits are fantastic. I loved the tribute to Bob Hope. Touring the hall brought back many memories of following golf through my life. The challenge holes were fun. The only drawback was the putting course, the putting greens were in terrible condition to say the least. It was like putting on the fairway on a $10... More

This museum is excellently curated and offers a fabulous overview of golf and those who have made it a great sport. My husband and I spent about 3 hours at the museum, then did the 18-hole putting course and tried the island green. Finished with a late lunch at the cafe. Would love to go back when we have more... Fun day! Try to hit island green, scavenger hunt through the museum and great imax films. Was definitely worth the visit while in town.

This is a lovely, well organized and clean museum. But here are a few things to help manage expectations: Don't expect to get through it quickly, and don't expect it to entertain younger children. It takes a very long time to get through, especially if you have serious golf-lovers in your group. We were impressed with the detail of the... More
