Amazing stained glass, golden altar fixtures and gorgeous wood. It is on the corner of St. George and Cathedral Streets and is attached to the oldest Catholic diocese in the U.S. You don't have to be Catholic to appreciate the beauty of the architecture of...More

This basilica is worth a visit as part of the old Saint Augustine, inside is magnificent with many artifacts as the church is the oldest church in America that has had recorded continual use over the ages

We didn’t get to do the tour but saw a wedding party leave the church following the ceremony. How special!

This church was amazing. The daily masses are at 7:00, and we didn't make it to any, and we weren't there on the weekend. I would love to have attended a mass. I highly recommend making a visit, it is an incredible sight to see....More

This is a very nice basilica and I think has more historical interest than amazing architecture. If you have visited cathedrals in other places this won't amaze you but it is worth a few minutes of time to see where so much St. Augustine history...More

Nothing paid for in advance. Just show up and there's a docent inside that will assist. They only take gratuities for the tour

Pat G. No, you do not need a ticket. A collection will be taken up at the Offertory, but it is absolutely voluntary. In short, it would not cost you a penny, unless you want to donate.
