This church has very old stained glass windows and a gold gilded altar. There are several small altars adorned in gold leaf. There is a very old statue of the Virgin Mary originating from Cuba

I am Catholic and enjoyed the 9am Sunday Mass there. I am passionate about architecture and the way the Basilica was designed. I would recommend anyone visit the Basilica and the little shop they have there.

This old cathedral is a must see, no matter your religious affiliation. The art work and stain glass windows are just beautiful. It is an active place of worship, so you should exercise proper respect when touring the cathedral.

Designed and built during the Spanish Colonial period. Exposed timber and marvelous art work. Also a nice, tranquil respite from the bustle of the adjacent pedestrian shopping area.

I attended the Easter Vigil service at the Basilica this year and it was a beautiful service at a beautifully decorated parish.

Lovely old church with some interesting history. A guide answers all the questions you might have. Stained glass tells the story of the life of Saint Augustine.

Pat G. No, you do not need a ticket. A collection will be taken up at the Offertory, but it is absolutely voluntary. In short, it would not cost you a penny, unless you want to donate.

I'm sorry we only visit in the summer. It's a fully functional church so I would say yes. You can always google their name.
