We are currently only meeting at 11 AM on Sundays. This site has some photos of Flagler Presbyterian Church, in error. Grace United Methodist Church is the one with a red tiled roof. For a while, the church is not open for tours so attending a service is a good option.

We toured the inside of the church then went back on Sunday for a church service. We enjoyed the message and the church members were all welcoming and friendly. Will attend again on our visits to this beautiful city.

Not just a beautiful church to tour in an historic old city, but a wonderful place to worship whether you live here or are just visiting. We come to St. Augustine 2 or 3 times a year and always make it a point to stay through Sunday. The people are lovely and very friendly. The first time we visited we were invited to stay for a potluck even though we didn't have a dish to contribute. They are an example for Christians everywhere. And their pastor always shares a spirit-filled message.

What a beautiful church! Gorgeous altar and a real sense of God when you walk in. There was music playing when we arrived so we sat down to pray and meditate while soaking it all in. Free admission.

This was the first place we went into when we arrived in St. Augustine. They had a sign outside welcoming visitors. We're not religious at all, but to have a chance to see the inside of an old church. Yes we took advantage of the opportunity. The lady inside was very polite and talked about the church with such proud passion. She allowed and encouraged us to take pictures and ask questions. I suggest anyone visiting St. Augustine to visit. Just the craftmanship inside is worth it

The Grace United Methodist Church is a beautiful little church. It was built in 1888 and has stood the test of time. The inside is lovely. The original light still hangs in the middle, it was converted from gas to electric. The people that were there from the church when we went were very nice and took time to explain the history. There is a side room towards the back that has a lot of historical items. If you are in the area, it is a nice place to check out.

We walked over to this church but found all the doors to be locked. This was a Monday afternoon. We wish it had been open.

My husband and I have attended several services at Grace. The church has the unique situation of husband and wife co-pastors which work well for the congregation. They have a wonderful choir and music director and services are always uplifting and spirited. There is a great sense of history when you are in the church, which adds to the experience. A nice touch for adults at the 11:00am service is that after a pause in the service, the children leave with the Sunday School teacher before the service resumes. The only reason I did not rate Grace 5 stars is because both pastors need to work on their sermon skills. They tend to be a bit rambling and repetitive, but some outside critique of the sermon before it's given could easily remedy that problem. The music truly is amazing and a reason alone to go.

Flagler wanted a piece of land the original church was built upon. He built this church as a replacement for the original just so he could purchase the land to build a hotel. Impressive gas lamp converted over to electric. Beautiful pulpit. Great tour by a local.
