Each year I join 13 women from the East Coast and the Pacific Northwest to participate in the 26.2 with Donna in Jacksonville, a marathon and half marathon to "end" breast cancer. We "Traveling TaTas" ranging in age from 50's-70's, rent a house near St. Augustine and are always looking for fun outings. Several years ago we did the Corks and Forks Tasting Tour and had so much fun we decided to do so again. This year was absolutely stellar!! Dawn was an incredible host as she shared the history of St Augustine with us and added to the laughter and lively spirit of our group. She was informative and gave us time at each restaurant to truly enjoy ourselves and take in the unique flavors and atmosphere. Starting with the champagne toast to ending with the ice cream sandwich samples at Piece of Pie, we ate, drank, learned a bit of history, and laughed our way through the afternoon. This tour was the perfect way to begin our visit! On behalf of the Traveling TaTas, thank you Dawn for such an amazing experience. We hope our paths cross again....Ta Ta for now:-) 🍷🍦🍽

Dawn provided a phenomenal tour for our group of 13! We’ve been gathering in St. Augustine for 13 years now, to participate in the Donna Breast Cancer Marathon event. We come from WA, OR, VA and DE and we LOVE the Corks and Forks tour. Great way to see and learn about the oldest city in the country while enjoying wonderful food and wine. Dawn did an AMAZING job entertaining our large, loud and often silly group!!!!!

I can't say enough how much we loved the Corks & Forks tour we did. We booked a private tour for a bachelorette party and Laura our guide went above and beyond. She made our bride feel so special, gave us local tips, fun facts about St. Augustine, and even took photos the whole time to share for us later. I absolutely recommend this tour to anyone who wants a one of a kind dining experience. We went to 6 different stops, food and wine at 5 of them. So unique and superior service. They even catered to my dietary restrictions.

We were looking forward to a relaxing private tour to see the beautiful Nights of Lights display. Some of the streets we went down did not have any lights at all. It seemed as though we went down the "back roads" to get to the main light displays that everyone could see that was either on foot or driving down the main roads. We paid $195 for 2 people to go on the tour, but the carriage had a sign posted with the ride rate of $85.00 for up to 4 people on it. Seeing that made it clear that we were way overcharged for the convenience of having a reservation and an inexpensive bottle of wine.

To make matters worse, towards the end of the tour the sky opened up and there weren't any umbrellas, or blankets, in the carriage to use to keep us from getting soaked. The carriage driver's dog was safe under an umbrella, but we were left totally uncovered in the rain. By the time we got back we were so wet that even our underware was soaked. It was a chilly evening, and now we are both sick. We know that they can't control the weather, but since they advertise that they operate the carriages in "rain or shine" I would expect them to have umbrellas on the carriages since many visitors do not walk around, on a clear day, carrying umbrellas.

We appreciate any and all feedback! Sorry to hear that Mother Nature did not cooperate that evening. We will certainly address your concerns, with the carriage company, that we contract with. Yes, during the 'off season' you can get a less expensive ride on the Bayfront. However, it will not have the following wonderful options included: - Reservations (no waiting for hours on the Bayfront) - VIP Boarding (no crowds waiting to board) - Private ride (random guests can not be placed on your carriage) - Complimentary bottle of wine (Exclusive boutique vineyard wines - not available for retail purchases) - Etched souvenir wine glasses to take home We feel it is worth every penny during the busiest time of the year! We hope that you will come back, on a clear evening, to enjoy the experience!

Corley led our group on a tour through some of the lesser-traveled areas of St. Augustine, rarely coming across any of the big-box tour buses. We visited five businesses, Old City House Inn & Restaurant, Carrera Wine Cellar, The Floridian, Athena Restaurant and Peace Pie, for lots of delightful treats and wine tastings. This was just his selections for this particular group, which didn't have any allergies or dietary restrictions, so if we took this again tour I believe we would get a completely different experience. Corley did an excellent job of arranging everything and filling us in on St. Augustine history.

Did the Wine and Dine with another couple and can say it's one on the best tours I've ever done. In fact I'm still amazed at how happy I am we did it. Corley was a great guide, enjoyed talking to him about St. Augustine and his journey to being there. We had our original tour canceled due to a golf cart problem, as always Tasting Tour was friendly and efficient in rectifying it, we rescheduled to the next day. 3 of us were born and raised in Jacksonville, St. Augustine has been a stomping ground for us all our lives, so to be taken to 4 places we'd never been was interesting. Not only do we have plans to do another tour but will return to the restaurants we visited. High notes, every establishment was prepared for us, with no waiting once we arrived. At 3 places the food was already on the table. The pairing of food with wine was perfect. The food was great. I loved starting with a wine tasting, 5 wines at a shop I've walked by a 100 times, will return. We all loved ending with dessert....it was decadent !! You are satisfied, full when it's over, would be perfect for dinner. Again, thank you Tasting Tour and Corley for a wonderful afternoon. See you Christmas Eve if not before.

Bill is fantastic and if you’re lucky to get him, you’re in for a treat! I was scheduled for mid afternoon on St Patrick’s day, but due to the Coronavirus, everything was cancelled and starting to shut down. Even so, they rebooked me to an earlier time and made sure I was charged the correct amount and went on a tour. This is not my first go round with them, and I have to say this is a fantastic way to get around town—as a new visitor OR as a long-time fan of the city. You can NOT go wrong with these guys.

Our group always loves doing food tours when we visit a city and the Corks & Forks Tour with Marcy was one of the best we've done anywhere in the U.S. This is a hearty affair with plenty of interesting food stops and very generous pairings of wine and beer, as well as a memorable stop at a wine bar (Casa de Vine 57) where the food, wine and ambiance was perfect. Marcy was a delight, who infused history and a whole lot of energy into the afternoon. Highly recommend the Tour!

What a wonderful way to spend a Sunday morning than to drive around St. Augustine finding hidden gems of restaurants with a real foody like Corley. Irish breakfasts at Barley Republic and bocadillas at DOS were terrific and all served with Mimosas and sangrias. We particularly enjoyed the city tour we received from Corley seeing the Magnolia Street used in the film Forest Gump and hearing of the history of this historic first city of America.

Had a great time on the tasting tour. We started at a great little wine shop, Carrera Wine Cellar. The wine shop had great little gifts and wonderful wines. We tried 4 different wines here and of course bought several bottles of wine. The owners were great. We then were driven in the electric little limo to the Old House Inn. Here we had a crab meat appetizer and a glass of Chardonnay wine. This was very good and a great way to start the tastings. Our tour guide, Corley took us down the backstreets of St Augustine to see areas we had never seen. As he drove past interesting areas, he gave us some interesting and little known information. He was a great guide.
Next we went the the Anthena Greek Cuisine Restaurant. Here we had a glass of wine, cheese lit on fire and a gyro. Of course this food was as great as the rest. After the Greek food we went over to Nonnas Trattoria down the oldest St Augustine Street. At this nice little Italian restaurant we sat outside, had our choice of red or white wine and talked with the owner. He brought out a buffalo mozzarella cheese with a balsamic reduction, some Pasta and bolognese sauce and calamari with marinara sauce. He told us about each dish and how all the sauces are homemade. Fantastic.
Last we had desert at Peace Pie. Here we had a trio of wonderful ice cream sandwiches. We had a dreamsicle, a chocolate fudge and a banana ice cream sandwich. All were very good.
We opted for the souvenir wine glasses which Corley gave us at the end. They had all St Augustines main points of interest on them. Really cool. He dropped us off at our car and was a great tour guide. We will try it again and luckily every tour is the not the same. Corley contacts you and finds out a little about you to set up the tastings.
