I couldn’t believe how busy this area was on the Saturday before Easter. I love all of the little shops and restaurants. We got around on the Old Town Trolley. It was a lovely time.

The Saint Augustine old city is a historic little area you can stroll, dine, shop and take in history. The taverns, inns and shops all have a historic theme and the pedestrian only walkways are a fun area to enjoy.

This is a dream destination for me, we have been there a second time. We liked it so much. Completely different Florida culture. We took a horse driven carriage, saw the festival of lights, and of course shopping. We ended up buying Christmas presents.

As expected, the old city area is beautiful. Needless to say there were thousands of people enjoying the weather and the sights. Able to move around well despite the high number of people. No problems getting into the shops and areas. Overall a great afternoon.

Lots of history, interesting architecture and loads of restaurants and shops make this a very enjoyable place to visit. It is a relatively small area so walking is easy. The trolley companies do a nice job of exposing the area to tourists.

Rare jewel! Very Spanish and colonial town and a must see if you are in Atlantic Florida. Gorgeous place! Loved it the best of my Florida trip!

A family friendly, easily accessible, vacation destination. Something for all ages: 5 to 95+. Only slight challenge - parking is somewhat limited.

My husband and I were in St Augustine over Thanksgiving week. We stayed in the old town at a bed and breakfast that was convenient to the old town. Old town consists of several blocks just south of the visitor center. It's well maintained area,...More

Fun to stroll down the streets of this old town and imagine what it would have been like to live during the town's heyday

There is no context to this question: “Old City” If you are speaking of New Orleans, it has been crowded every time of year that we have visited. I would suggest that if you make your way there very early in the morning... More
