The sounds looks smells and atmosphere were great. The tiny shops were great selling shirts trinkets and many other stuff. I would recommend this to anyone visiting St Augustine.

Loved walking down this little street with all the shops. Went with my family last August. Fun to hear about the history and feel like you are in a completely different country when walking down.

Fun for families or couples. No traffic is the best part. Getting lost in the details is the second. Fun to people watch however the street is obviously very tourist focused and the shops that have taken over skins of the old old buildings don’t...More

This is a combo of beach shops, tourist traps, and restaurants. It if fun poking around and great for people watching. Some of the buildings go far back with additional shops so make sure to explore.

A fun old street (no traffic), with tons of shops (boutique and souvenir) and restaurants. Family friendly during the day. A lot of panhandlers in the side alleys, so I wouldn’t walk around at night. Only complaint is that we were there several days in...More

Visited on March 28th. A wonderful venue with a variety of shops and eateries. Also, very close to so many historical sites. A wonderful way to spend some leisure time.

Spent alot of time on this street. Great eating places. Great places with bars that had music while you grabbed a beverage. Various shopping opportunities. Narrow street so no traffic just walking. Several stops of Hop on off access this street.

Quite a few tee shirt / trinket shops with some unique shops. Lots of fast food, pizza, ice cream, popcorn, etc.

Closed off to automobile traffic, St. George street offers an array of shops, restaurants, and other attractions, such as the oldest school house. Nice walk about half a mile long (one way).
