Beautiful old fort

I didn't go in as I prefer to photograph forts from the outside. This one was particularly striking and both my camera and I loved it. See for yourself.

The Fort is a wonderful attraction for old and young alike. Knowledgeable Staff can provide an insight into the history of the Fort and talks are given at intervals during the day.

Excellent as usual. My 3 children age 5,3 and 1 and niece had a blast as well as the 10 adults. The guide provide great educational material. It is very refreshing to have a hands on museum to bring the children too. I highly recommend attending this museum.

If you go to St Augustine, go off the beaten path to Ft Menendez, The tour was very interesting and fun and the tour guides, Isabella and Fernando were so knowledgeable and friendly. We learned so much and had a great time doing it. Great for all ages.

We spent a couple of hours here and enjoyed it. The 2 guides were very informative, there were only 5 in the group all adults and I'm sure kids would enjoy trying out the old games, we did !! A bit disappointed that they didn't set fire to the canoe , heath and safety of course

This is such an entertaining place to visit. We all loved it - kids and adults. The staff is absolutely wonderful and really care if you are having a nice visit, everyone was so nice and friendly. The kids loved the Indian village and getting little "prizes". The fort also has a nice little gift shop. I would highly recommend... More
