Showed up at 11AM on the 3rd Saturday (today) and no one showed up for the 25 minutes or so we were there. Woman in visitor center said sometimes they don't show up. Luckily we live local in walking distance. Phone number rings to a church with multiple options but no mention of the cemetery tour.

The Cemetery is located next to the St Augustine Visitors Center on A1A near the City Gates. Easy to find
This is the Protestant Cemetery in St Augustine for burials from 1821 to 1884. The cemetery is still maintained to this day and is very nice. This is a cemetery that was started shortly after the area was under American Rule.

This is right between the Visitor Center and the City Gates. Closed & locked tight!
You can get some pics through the bars, but not a lot of stones are close enough for a good pic.
There's an information sign to read.
Apparently only open for ghost tours according to the last reviewer.
If you're taking the trolley tour, get off at stop 2 or 4.

A well-maintained cemetery a few steps off the main downtown area. Several interesting monuments. Local on-street parking was not a problem.

It is easy to find, right across the street from the city gates. I was disappointed, however, that it was not open to walk through. In talking with someone at the Visitor Center, located just on the other side of the cemetery, I was told that it is only open one day a month. (I think he said the second Saturday of every month, but I'm not sure - you will want to check). Looks like an interesting cemetery if you can get in.

Next to the historic City Gate was a Protestant burial ground between the years 1821 and1884. Started when the city came under American control. There were no Protestant burial grounds within the city.
The Cemetery is still maintained to this day by the Presbyterian Church .

Is there a "list" of the people buried here? As a direct descendant of the zhuegonts, I would be interested for genealogy purposes. Thank you
