    Great daytime visit.
Visited here recently on a LocalFlavor deal. Was surprised with the various animals; was expecting mostly alligators. The zoo has a few alligator shows throughout the day that are included with the ticket price. Only complaint I have about the show is that social distancing was not maintained, there were dozens of people all standing close to each other without masks. I might recommend that during the show, when people are packed in, masks be required for the time. The zoo has a snack bar that is decently priced. Food came out fast. Overall I spent a few hours here, and would definitely return. They had animals for every kind of animal lover, and I learned quite a bit.

    so many crocodilians!
We visited here on Dec. 30. It was fairly crowded that day, but luckily we found a parking spot when we arrived late morning. We (four animal-loving adults) really enjoyed this zoo, especially seeing so many different species of crocodilians, as well as tropical and wading birds and more. Maximo is an impressively huge crocodile specimen; we got almost nose-to-nose to him (with glass between us, thank goodness!). We were able to catch two of their hourly shows during our visit: the Rainforest Review in their outdoor theater (led by Lindsey) showcased several South American birds and a snake, and the Alligator feeding at the Native Swamp area was entertaining and informative to watch. (Five different shows were offered the day we visited; catching these really fleshes out your visit here.) This is not a huge zoo and doesn’t take long to walk around from end to end, but there was enough of interest here (i.e. shows, exhibits, videos, etc.) that we spent four hours in total, including having a tasty lunch from their café. The overall landscaping and habitat designs lend a pleasant “tropical” feel here. All in all, we had a pleasant time!

    Very cool place!
First visit here and glad we came by. I would recommend looking for coupons before going as it seemed a bit pricey still worth it without coupons. So many varieties of alligators and crocodiles from throughout the world. Hundreds of nesting tropical birds throughout the exhibit especially in the long walkway that has hundreds of alligators and crocodiles . Super cool walk. At the end of the walkway is an exit for Gomek a crocodile that lived there until its death. It was over 17 feet and is on exhibit. Huge creature. Plenty of shade throughout the park. they have ziplines to try for a cost with one line going over a crocodile enclosure. We also watched the feeding of a number of large alligators. Kind of a letdown as all the presenter did was throw some large pellets at a couple large alligators and talk about them. We were expecting a different type of feeding I guess. Nic eight shop as well to visit. well worth the time and money.

    Ziplining adventure
Four teenage girls did the extended zip lining adventure and all came back smiling they start off with a very simple training zip then begin their adventure crisscrossing the alligator park. Admission to the park is included with the zip lining ticket. 2 of the girls had been before but admitted they enjoyed it the second time around.

    So many animals!
There are so many gators, crocs, snakes, and other animals here! The park is surprisingly huge, and you could easily spend an entire day here. We got to view the noon feeding at the main lagoon gator area, and it was cool to see them jump out of the water for the rats. You are also able to buy pellets for a quarter to feed other gators as you walk around. It was very exciting to also see many spoonbills and other birds roosting in the trees. This is a great way to view nature safely!

    The Rookery is the Best
I begin a lot of my reviews with, "We've been coming to St. Augustine for years..." My son just turned 21 and we have been coming since he was 8. This year we made our second trip ever to the Alligator Farm and why? Because we wanted to see the birds. We have been here once before awhile ago, but now my wife and I have gotten more interested in photographing birds. This is the place to do that. The Rookery is really an amazing place. Make no mistake, this place is expensive at $27 per adult to get in but it was worth it for us and we got to see some beautiful birds and captured some remarkable images that would be 200 times for difficult to get in the wild. We saw roseate spoonbills, great egrets, tri-colored herons, wood storks, snowy egrets, and more. There are plenty of gators and lemurs and tortoises to see as well. The attraction also now includes a zip line and ropes-type course I don't remember being there before. Plenty to do. But if you like birds, bite the bullet on the entry fee and go.

    Wow; This Place Is Awesome!
You definitely get to see lots of reptiles and animals, experience great and captivating shows, and see a replica of the largest crocodile for the money! This definitely is a place to see; you’ll need at least a few hours to view most exhibits. This one is worth the trip, time, and money. While it was a short wait to enter, it wasn’t too crowded; you could easily walk around and see the exhibits up close. The feedings shows are amazing!!’ This is a must see in St. Augustine.

    More Engaging Then I Thought
The Mr and I spent a week in St Augustine so that we could visit his son, who is in the Navy and stationed in Mayport. This was their pick, but I ended up enjoying it more than I thought I would. You seen one ‘gator you seen them all - right? However this park offers more than the opportunity to see alligators. I love learning new things, and I learned a lot here. The zoo keepers were very knowledgeable and open to answering my questions, which I always appreciate. Alligators are actually fascinating creatures. Additionally, there were some beautiful birds and amazing turtles to see and enjoy.

    Wait until they’re older!
This is my 3rd or 4th time visiting the Alligator Farm but it’s been a few years. This was my first time with my 2 granddaughters- 3 and 20 months. It was fun, but they were done after about an hour and a half. They were only interested in the alligators and crocodiles for a while and feeding them was fun. We arrived too late for the 12:00 show and they were ready to go before the 3:-show. The prices have increased and at $35 for each adult (x5) and $20 for the 3year old (under 2 was free) … it was quite an expensive trip. At that price point, I was hoping that they had added some other animals. I would recommend this for older kids… but don’t spend this kind of money on the toddlers.

    Overpriced
Alligator farm is a pretty cool place. I felt it was a little overpriced as it took only about an hour to get through and it was almost $100 for a family of four. Lots of animals to see, but again, unless you hang around for the feedings, not worth the price to visit.

We had a pretty good time at the St. Augustine Alligator Farm. The layout is more comfortable then attractions that are similar. It’s only about a half day of entertainment and you should definitely get the discount through Old Town Trolley Tours. It’s a nice family morning with some VERY big reptiles.

If you want to see alligators and crocodiles this is your place. I never knew there was so many different species of alligators and crocodiles. Check the weather before you go most of the park is outside with shade. We liked the quarter machines with "Gator" food you can toss into some of the exhibits. We were able to get our tickets in a package with Old Town Trolley (you just have to check with whoever your going to use to get around town with to see if they have a package deal. There are several different trolley companies to pick from. We have always used Old Town Trolley in every city they offer and have always had a great experience ). They also have several other animals as well. Over all a great experience

Never knew how many different species of crocodiles and alligators there are in the world til I came here. You really learn alot bout them. Our trip here was amazing and can't wait to come back. See how big some can get will make you think. Goemeck was huge and the new one they have is wow. It was a great outdoor trip to go here. The shows they put on were fun and we even took pictures with giant tortoises. Best day ever in my book. Cant wait to come back.
