We stopped by on our last day at St. Augustine and enjoyed this wax museum. Many figures look almost life like. My family enjoyed it very much as it had a mixture of movie/tv characters and historical figures. Definitely recommend.

Very lifelike figures. The bar keeper in particular looked quite ready to sell us a drink. Figures were sometimes grouped by event or activity. For instance, WWII generals or writers. Some were on their own, such as one of Brittany Spears. Information provided for all figures. Very informative. The costumes for the original figures were made by royal costumers. These alone were said to be very valuable. Figures are being added. Had a horror chamber for those not faint in heart. Highly recommended.

I revisited the Potter Museum since I remember it from my childhood. The realistic eyes convince you the models are watching you. Each figure has a card with a summary of their life and how they died. A little smaller than I remembered. Pleasant staff and a fun experience.

You can’t beat this experience for the price. Sure it’s cool to see wax figures - and some of them look so eerily real, I stared back for a very long time expecting a blink - but PWM is also a walking history lesson about every character’s contribution to life and how they died. There are also so many nods to the local history, it’s easy to see why folks flock to the First Coast. From Ponte de Leon to the Creature from the Black Lagoon (both Floridians, in case you didn’t know), Potter’s has it all. On a side note, my macabre sense of entertainment was fulfilled reading about all of Henry VIII’s wives. Spoiler alert, they were not all beheaded!

It was out last day here and I suggested to my wife to check this out. Glad we did. Was very cool to see all the wax figures and read a short bio about them. Was Quite a lot to see and also got to see the process involved in making them. The young lady at the front counter was very friendly and nice and funny as well. Was nice chatting with her.

My two sisters and I visited Potters and were amazed by the wax figures. They were really life like. Some of them were spooky! It was a great way to spend an hour in the afternoon.

Fun. Short exhibit. Some history with it. I liked that. My kids wanted better Harry Potter statue though. I think it was worth the money.

Fantastic museum. Be sure to give yourself enough time. There is alot of history to take in and the art work is wonderful. Only negative is TripAdvisor needs to get the museum times correct. The nice ladies there let us in and let us enjoy the museum even tho we came at closing. This is a must see in St. Augustine.

Don't know why I missed this place before on previous visits to St. Augustine, my loss. A great little wax museum, the oldest in the USA. I've been to bigger wax museums full of more 'celebrity' waxworks, but this had a more interesting collection, I thought, some you'd nor expect. Some of the models are 75 years old.

My favorite waxwork? The Creature From the Black Lagoon, lol. Exhibits range from Michelangelo, to Star Wars characters. All the Presidents except Trump, apparently they can't get the hair right on him yet.

Nice little museum. My husband and we’re lucky to find it. It started raining so it was perfect to take a break from the weather to see this little gem.
