Absolutely the coolest thing to do in St. Augustine. Better than a jet ski if you are with someone because you sit side-by-side. For three hours JT took us to a few interesting spots (not too many), told us a little history (not too much), and then we ran full throttle up the river then back (about 30 MPH). Not too fast, not too slow for most. Came back to a sand bar/island, we beached the boats and walked around looking for shells and critters for 30-40 minutes. Found a 3" live conch, a 12" live conch, a sand dollar, and some other things. It's a little expensive so don't be too shocked but, you remember this adventure for sure. We were fortunate to have fairly smooth water. Plan accordingly because it's a rough ride when it's choppy. Early AM is the best time for calmer water but, that is not always the case.

Wow! It's been two days and I am still smiling about it. Best thing we did on our trip to St. Augustine. We had a party of 4 ranging in age from 15 to 54 we came out of the trip exhilarated and singing it's praises. JT was our guide and set the tone for a worry free, fun adventure. He took us to within feet of a pod of dolphins, by a haunted house and to a remote beach where we found great treasures to bring home. The scenery was serene, that is when we weren't flying across the river at 30 MPH, catching air on the wakes of bigger boats. What's cool about the trip is that each catamaran was able to choose how aggressive to travel, finding smooth water if you wanted it...or not. JT was one of the best guides we've had on any adventure...friendly, knowledgeable, and customer centric. Highly recommended!

What a blast. We were all a bit nervous when we first powered up and went out. But that quickly changed. It was intimate and personalized and certainly enough time to visit a good amount of St Augustine from the waters perspective.

We have been interested in the craigcats for sometime now and this adventure gave us the perfect opportunity to get hands on experience with one. This was hands down one of the most fun things we have done in awhile! Water, speed and independence were all in this experience. A great way to experience the water and scenery from an offshore perspective.

JT was a great guide and was super helpful yet he did not overshadow our adventure with a lack of freedom in commanding our own vessel. He gave us great tips on how to be safe on the water with other larger boats not to mention on how to handle our craigcat. All the 'cats performed well and no one got stranded or lost power. JT even took us to a spot where we had numerous dolphins swim up around us! He took pictures of us on our adventure so we will have those memories to look back on. We did have a little rain shower but it did not dampen our fun at all. Rain jackets were provided (onboard in storage compartment) if we needed them but we were fine!

I will say that you should definitely wear your sunscreen as the small bimini (canopy) only covers the head and your legs will be exposed. Wear shoes you can either get wet or remove easily. I wore flip flops and still took them off. I was able to stow them in a small waterproof compartment behind the seats along with a small bag with extra sunscreen. Don't forget your sunglasses and a hat you can secure to your head (if you want to wear one); they can and will fly off at higher speeds!

PLAN ON GETTING WET! Some of it is due to going over other boat wakes but if you play around like we did, you will get yourself wet!! Did I mention how much fun we had?!?!?! At the end of our experience we had access to very nice and clean facilities to shower and change if we needed to. Bring your own towels for during the experience and/or to use after to dry off.

Bring extra water if you require more than the one bottle per person included in the small cooler on your 'cat. I would ask before expecting to bring it on board but it would be handy for the end of the experience as you will be thirsty from possible salt spray in your face!!!

I think I have covered everything from our perspective other than to say once again: WE HAD SO MUCH FUN! What a blast! We will do this again and hope to take those adventurous guests we have for a great time!

We decided to take our 2 high school graduates (twins) out for a day on the water as this was a surprise 3 hour adventure. We did not tell them what we were doing until we were in the parking lot. There was some skepticism at first, but then They saw the Craig Cats and got excited. Once we got settled in, JT went through the rules and safety briefing and then we were off. It was great. The Watercraft were easy to operate. The weather was terrific, the company great and the experience excellent. We had a great time! It was a different view of the fort from the water and JT gave us some history of the fort and the inlet that we had not heard before and how much it had changed over the years. Did not realize our daughter would enjoy getting splashed so much as the two of us were soaked, on purpose of course. We definitely enjoyed playing in the wake of the other boats on the water. My wife and son also got wet. JT got us close to porpoise quite a few times and then at the end of the tour, we were in a pod of 20 plus porpoise. There were a couple babies in the pod as well. JT thought one of babies was just a day or two old. It was a great day that everyone enjoyed and one that we will try to get back to as well as it was definitely worth it. Thanks again Blue Water and JT!!!!!

It was a last minute decision to book this, but so happy I did. JT was a great guide and at no time did we feel unsafe, even when we put the boat on full speed. We saw dolphins and got to see some of the historical landmarks from the river. I will definitely book again in the future.

We had an absolute blast! My husband and I were celebrating our anniversary and JT made it a memorable one!! Upon arrival we were impressed with how nice the marina was (separate men’s & womens restrooms, showers and changing room).
Our boat was ready and waiting with an ice filled cooler stocked with water bottles. JT explained safety precautions & how to operate the catamarans, then off we went. Almost immediately we were greeted by dolphins who swam next to our boats for a while. JT was taking pictures of us as they played among the group. Pink spoonbills on the shores it was quite picturesque.
Next we went out to see Castillo de San Marcos from the water and learned more about it. You can see the top of the lighthouse from here too. It was great to see St. Augustine from this angle. Then he took us to a sandbar where we saw protected bird nesting sites and walked along the sand spit. You can see the giant cross from here. After this pause we got back in the boats and we wanted to see how these boats could perform. They did not disappoint, we were doing doughnuts and crossing our own wake. It was a beautiful day & we wanted to get splashed which we most certainly did. It can be as tame or wild as you want.
We highly recommend booking this adventure! From the wildlife, the history, iconic sites, to adventure it was money well spent. They were easy to operate and great fun for all. Thank you for a great time!

We came to St. Augustine from Texas for a much needed 2 wk vacation. Of all the wonderful things we did here, and we did a lot, the Mini Catamaran Water Tour was the one we will remember the most! The best 3 hours of our trip! JT was our guide and the chillest most informative fella without a doubt. A breezy morning cruise on these lil boats with JT is well worth it. We cruised by the lighthouse and the fort then he put us in some great spots to observe dolphins swimming. So awesome! Many thanks to JT for the fantastic water adventure! Highly recommend this!

Highlight of our trip to St. Augustine. Booked this for my husband, adult son and his girlfriend. Guide explained safety and how to operate the boat before taking us out on our 2 person catamaran. Traveled through 3 rivers and was able to view St. Augustine including the Lighthouse, Fort, several bridges from the water. Unfortunately it was right after lots of boat traffic for Memorial Day so we didn't see any dolphins. Boats definitely went faster than I expected, but even in my 60's enjoyed the thrill and excitement when we went fast. Wear lots of sunscreen on hot sunny days. and have a hot with a chin strap. Would definitely recommend and do again!

Fantastic experience! From making the reservation to returning the pontoon boat, Jeremy was very professional, informative, and helpful. He was easy to communicate with and flexible with our plans. The pontoon was pristine - so clean and roomy and comfortable. We went to a local restaurant dock and picked up lunch to eat on the pontoon, saw dolphins and manatees, and had a wonderful day. Would highly recommend this and rent again from Bluewater Adventure St. Augustine!
