Take a step back in time to 1908 with this tour. The tour guide on our tour (Fred) was good. It’s an immersive experience where you get to see what it was like at the turn of the 20th century and what items cost at the time. There is so much to see in the way of gadgets that at the time we’re cutting edge. If you like this type of historical presentation, you’ll enjoy this museum. If you’re the type that doesn’t like campy humor or is expecting stupid Disney animatronics, then you should skip this.

Leo our tour guide was amazing! He engaged my two daughters, 5 and 7 yrs old, and kept their attention the entire time. He did a great job interacting with the audience and bringing the store items to life. My girls had a great time! Well done Leo!

Purchased this tour as part of a package at the Old Trolley ticket booth. The guide was very informative and entertaining, and there were loads of interesting antiques and memorabilia to see. If you have kids, it is a very interesting place for them to learn how things were in years past.

Y'all this was so much fun! Uncle Vance was incredible, real, personal but also a hilarious 1908 salesman! He MADE this tour, don't get me wrong, all of the historical trinkets & antiques were so incredible to see and hold! But, he made this WAY more fun. Only con... wish it lasted longer! Make sure you visit and ask for Uncle Vance, you won't regret it!

The store is very interesting with all of the old products but the actress that was our guide was awful. She had no acting skills and overplayed the acting until it was grueling and rather uncomfortable to where we felt sorry for her and just wanted to get away. We really would have preferred the play acting for a couple of minutes and then let us look around while she assisted when needed.

I love nostalgia and this museum is full of it! The Mr and I, along with another couple found the Oldest Store Museum to be full of interesting items from yester-year. Through no fault of their own, the tour guide’s presentations were a little cheesy for me (I’m a tour purest), but I understand their delivery appeals to families and most people.

I’d take the tour again just for the chance to see all the interesting gadgets and tidbits!

What a great addition to our trip. Wasn’t really looking forward to it yet it was a fascinating look back through time. Our tour guide Orville was so knowledgeable and friendly and his interactions with the crowd were very entertaining. This is a definite must-do addition to your time at the old jail.

We were in St. Augustine for a few days and had to decide what to do. One of s the highlight of our visit was the Oldest Store Museum. It's a thorough reproduction of a store that existed at the turn of the century in Florida. But what made it even more fantastic was an actress named Molly who played the a working saleswoman. She was very knowledgeable, charming and extremely entertaining. I loved that she made it such an interactive experience.

My family went to the old store last month and really enjoyed the tour guide, Orville. He was informative, funny and entertaining. We live in Saint Augustine and took some visiting friends to the trolley ride and saw Orville outside the store, and decided to go again. He was just as funny and entertaining the second time around. Highly recommended. The artifacts are unusual and the history is worth hearing about.

We went to take the trolley tour and see the Old Jail which we've heard a lot about. However, we also toured the Oldest Store and WOW we were surprised. This was the best tour we had in our three day visit to Saint Augustine. Our guide was Orville, who was funny, informative and gave a lot of attention to our son and daughter. His stories about the kitchen appliances, drug counter and bicycles were entertaining as well as informative. The artifacts in the store are amazing, and it was a great step back in time.
