My boyfriend's brother gave us a Groupon voucher for this experience over Christmas last year and we couldn't wait to go- although we were nervous and had no idea what to expect. My boyfriend isn't a huge fan of heights, and although I'm nimble and able-bodied, I certainly doubted my abilities as well! When we arrived, which was after a hike I must admit because we live about 45 minutes away, we were surprised it was in the owner's backyard- a very large backyard, but his backyard none-the-less! We were skeptical at first, but even just after meeting Matt and Jennifer, we felt more at ease and were blown away by their professionalism and expertise. They guided us through every step, we felt safe and in excellent hands throughout the entire experience and would highly recommend it to anyone who asks. We had a great time and the trip was well worth it! Safe for kids as well- there was a seasoned 5-year old who flew like a monkey on the trapeze, and we never once were worried for her safety- they took excellent care to ensure she was comfortable and safe. Definitely worth a try if you're on the fence!

My 9 year old daughter received this as a b-day gift from a friend. We did not tell her where she was going since she tends to over-think things and would probably bail-out. When we arrived, her eyes got really big and she said, "I hope I don't have to go up there because I'm afraid of heights." I thought, "oh no...she's not going to do it." She had her 13 year old friend with her and that helped to give her the courage to go for it, but also the staff is AMAZING. They make you feel safe by telling you step by step what you'll be doing. They take all necessary precautions to assure you are safe. There were about 10 people in this class, she was the youngest. It's amazing how people bond together under certain circumstances. They all encouraged each other. The staff does not push you to do more than you are comfortable with. It was a miracle that my daughter even climbed the ladder to the platform (safety rope attached of course), then imagine my surprise when she jumped off (when instructed). She did not do everything that was available but she did a couple jumps and back flips which she was thrilled to complete. The rest of my family wants to do this too now. This is located at a residence but there is plenty of parking, chairs, shade and safety. You'll love the experience!!

The location is a a private residence and family run which I like. There were all different people who came out for the class. The instructors were knowledgeable and fun. It was a great experience even though I was terrible and will not be quitting my day job to join the circus. If you are looking for a new story to tell at work or school it is worth it.

I did the academy Saturday, Feb. 8, 2014. I followed all the instructions but, because the safety line holder did not hold my weight, when my left hand slipped from the bar my entire weight was caught by my right arm and shoulder, RIPPING MY RIGHT PECTORALIS MUSCLE FROM IT ATTACHMENT ON MY HUMERUS!
I am having surgery this week to reattach the tendon, followed by 6 months of rehabilitation. I was told I would be called for followup of the injury but that has not happened.
Be aware that this is a dangerous activity!

What an amazing time this was!!! The team were absolutely incredible. I highly recommend everyone try this at least once. I know I’m coming back for sure!!!

Had a birthday party for my daughter and it was the best party ever! These folks really know how to work with kids and adults! They really worked hard to make sure the party was great!
We have tons of great videos of kids and adults on the trapeze! It was a party we will never forget!
Make sure you use these guys, they are TOP NOTCH!

My girls (15 & 12) were so excited to be able to take their second trapeze class. Their first was in New York inside in the winter. This one was outside in Florida on an 85 degree March day which couldn't have been more lovely. The trapeze is at the home of the owners. The couple and their helpers are very nice and safety conscious. The girls were considered "advanced" and were able to learn a new trick which culminated in a couple catches. Because they were advanced, they had many more opportunities to fly than the beginners who had to go through more training. It was unfortunate that only one of the four beginners was brave enough to do the things he needed to do to complete the catch. I would definitely recommend this and the girls can't wait to do it again when we come back next year!
