I like this park for its many trails to offer up different wildlife. There's a bald eagle landing, oyster creek trail, and gopher tortoises everywhere. It's very well kept, there is signs of graffiti under the bridge on the oyster creek trail and saw signs of homeless people living on the pier benches that made me a little weary.

You can tell this trail is popular with the locals as everyone seems to be riding this trail for some excercise, I think it is about 8-11 miles from start to finish, me and my wife were in cruising mode when we were riding hoping to see some wildlife. There are wide trails good enough for a little traffic, we... More

Great trail that leads to Coral Creek Waterway where you can see beautiful birds. And And sometimes you can see eagles in their nests.

This trail has some great spots to rest and some great backwater sites that could be fished if you so desired. It is a fairly long trail that if you do a there and back is a great workout for everyone. I really like this trail. At the beginning it is close to stores so if you need some drinks... More

Great place to walk or bike. Great blacktop trail that take you through some beautiful old Florida, the way it looked when Columbus landed. May see some beautiful wild life and a great water view over a bridge. Many places to park along the trail, but yet to can park near Public's, on Gasparilla an bike to Boca Grand. The... More

The pictures on here of the path with dense foliage is all we saw. We were pushing my three year old in the stroller and she was bored because there was really nothing to look at. We walked one direction for about 5 minutes and then had to leave due to her protesting!

Flat and paved, bounded on both sides by bush or trees, quiet most of the time, abundant with nature ... what else can a cyclist ask for? You get a good workout even though the trail is flat by cycling faster and going up and down the trail a few times. The leisure cyclist will find this path enjoyable. The... More

Haven't been on a cycle for many years but couldn't resist having a go, thoroughly enjoyed the flat cycle routes, lovely and quiet, cycled to Coral Creek which was so peaceful. Saw about six snakes on the verges which encouraged me to cycle a bit quicker! Enjoyed it so much we did it again a few days later.

I chose to ride this as part of a longer ride from Rotonda West to the Boca Grande lighthouse as I felt it would be more enjoyable than riding on the roads. The added bonus was that I found the surface of this path to be superior to the roads. Yes, it is arrow straight and flat, but this means... More
