Handling the dogs was our favourite part as we cuddled, fed and prepare them before, during and after the ride. Pierre and Flo did a wonderful job, and we loved the drumming of the rain on our teepees at night, the lovely meals and the huskies singing in the morning. We'd like to come back in the wintertime, stay in the upcoming cabins, and book the sauna as well.

I visited Sirdal Huskeyfarm with my boyfriend in July and while you may not think of a huskey farm as a good summer activity, it was just a dream come true.
Froydis, Florian and Pierre could not have been more professional and caring. The ~30 dogs are kept in excellent conditions and are fantastically trained - tails constantly wagging and happy to get all the attention we wanted to give them.

We opted for a husky hike. As we had just done Prekestolen and Kjerag we consider ourselves pretty decent hikers, but the huskey hike provided an excellent challenge as we went off trail through dense Norwegian forest (a far cry from the busy well-trodden tourist routes we'd done) and after approx 1hr stopped by a beautiful lake for a bonfire with traditional Norwegian polse (hotdogs), saft (juice), coffee and lappe (pancake style treat) whilst our dogs chilled out beside us. The total hike lasted approx. 3 hrs and we learned a lot about handling the dogs on harness on both steep ascents and descents.

Back at the farm we got to play with more dogs, meet the ponies and even did a spot of fishing!

It's a truly idyllic spot, run by a family who are passionate about their dogs. We will definitely be back in the winter for a longer wilderness experience.

3 adults and 4 boys aged 9 to 13 had a really good time at the husky farm. The hosts were helpful, informative and dedicated. The dogs were adorable, and the boys really loved it all. We will definately come back!

We thought it was a 3 hour husky sledge tour, not only 1 round 250 meter. That was very disappointing. We payed over 200 euro’s. Its a Nice place, Nice people and dogs but please change the info on your website

Absolutely amazing experience. The staff were kind, friendly, very informative, knowledgeable and patient. We were 2 adults and 2 children (6 and 3 years old). The Huskies were lovely and well trained. We felt safe. We all had a fantastic time and would definitely recommend it and go back next time. Both kids and adults had a great time!

We had a very nice time on Husky Farm Adventure. My wife and me were only guests there that day. You meet the dogs, cuddle, learn about the characteristics of Alaskan huskies, help to prepare and mount the dogs for sled. Then you drive around the circuit in pairs or alone. After that there is coffee and tee in the basement. The host was very informative. 5 stars.

It was a beautiful sunny day, we went for the husky cart tour! First we’ve met the Dogs & the Guy told us about the farm and the Dogs. We got the help with making the cart & Dogs ready for the tour.
After that we got to make the tour our selves.

After the tour, we got some coffee, water & lemonade. For our Son a popsicle & Some delicious treats.

Would recommand it for sure! Wunderfull once in a lifetime Experience :)

We had booked the three hour adventure. Initially we learned about the dogs and their daily routine. After that we were lucky to play with the three puppies.
After that we had some rounds with the dogs on the cart. It was amazimg to see how much the dogs liked to tow us.
Finally we got a lunch in a cozy cellar. They served even two different soups for us because my wife can‘t eat lactose.
Pierre and Florian were wonderful hosts!

Meeting the people who run the Husky farm and their efforts to show people the joy of having dogs and how they can be trained and friendly was a great experience. Having the opportunity to run a sled team was also exciting. I lived in Alaska for 5 years and did not get the opportunity. This was a unique experiance.
