About Blue Heron Fishing
The Blue Heron Fleet was established in 1955 by Capt. Harry Nagel. The fleet has been family owned and operated with the third generation currently at the helm. Blue Heron offers excellent year round fishing at a great price. The two vessels are the largest and most comfortable in the area. Vessels are custom built aluminum drift fishers that meet and exceed the United States Coast Guard regulations. The cabins offer cushioned seating, settees for catering, and clean men's and ladies restrooms. The Vessels are equipped with state of the art navigation and fish finding equipment. We also are offering PRIVATE charter trips on our 35 foot Contender center console for up to six passengers. Both our locations are minutes from prime fishing grounds 20-40 minutes away depending on which hot spot is producing fish catches. Productive reefs (natural and artificial) exist in 50 feet through 200 feet of water. The Gulf Stream comes to its closest point of land around the Palm Beach and Jupiter Inlets. All of our fishing 'catching' is done from ¼ mile to 3 miles from shore. Catches consist of Kingfish, Snapper, Grouper, Mahi-Mahi, Sailfish, Cobia, Barracuda, Sharks, False Albacore and Wahoo. The fare includes rod, reel, bait, tackle, and fishing license. The crews have years of experience ensuring your families safety and enjoyment. Two half day excursion departing daily. No reservations necessary, but you can book online at our website. Blue Heron specializes in private charters for family, business, and corporate events with the options of fishing or cruising. Great fun! Enjoyable experience! Captain Richie and Captain Sean made us feel welcome on the boat. They hustled to make sure everyone has the help they need with lots of patience and a positive attitude! Looking forward to another trip when my wife and I return to the area in January for our 20 year anniversary!!

My wife and I had so much fun. The boat only had 11 people but the crew took us out anyway. The crew was awesome and we caught a lot of fish. I will be back soon.

The best drift fishing in South Florida! The crew are all pros, super experienced, and always there when you need them, whether to bait your hook, replace some tackle, gaff a fish, or offer some fishing advice. Always an excellent, fun experience.
