Nøstetangen glass was a very famous producer of different glas articles in the period 1741-1777. It was situated in Hokksund, a small town about 60 km west of Oslo. They supplied among others the Denmark-Norway king Christian the 4th with exclusive glasses for the tables. In 1990 they started up again in a much smaller level with glass blowing. Daniel Erlandsson is now the glass blower. His products can be bought in the hut.

It tells about the background of Nostetangen glasses which I thought was very interesting to learn about. A Nice Collection of Nostetangen glasses were displayed together With glass art made by modern Norwegian artists. Upstairs there was a temporary glass Exhibition by an artist based in Denmark which I really thought was Nice and very creative!
