My friend and I took a 20-30 minute tour of this small but informative museum. Veteran hosts were knowledgeable and friendly. They have a vast assortment of old weapons, uniforms and pics that tell a visual story of wars in our history. Stop by and make a donation and say thank you to these men for their service. You'll feel... More

This is not much of a "museum" really. It is about the size of other small shops in Fisherman's Village on the waterfront in Punta Gorda, Florida. They have a few weapons and uniforms from various U.S. conflicts. It is free, as I recall, so it is not a rip-off or anything like that. It is someone's admirable attempt to... More

For a small Museum it was definitely more than i expected. Civil war to Vietnam a fair amount of memorabilia. In Punta Gorda a must see.

Nice visit while checking out the shops. Small museum with lots of models and memorabilia from civil war to present. The volunteers were friendly and helpful and even allowed our 8 year old to dress up. Nice stop for free.

Lots of things to see. Most of all the items here have been donated to the museum. Great for a military or history buff. All branches of the military are represented. Donation is requested.

Nice break from shopping, and was glad to see a tribute to the military in this high visibility location. Stop and browse while walking Fishermans Village

We went to fisherman's village and stumbled upon this. Give a donation and look at some amazing things! It's small, but worth it to be able to get out of the sun and learn about military history.
