As other reviewers have said it's a great tour. We took the 10:00 am tour lasting and hour and a half. Take bottles of water and snacks. You can buy them in the very neat gift shop. We saw a variety of eco-systems from plains with cattle grazing, a bull that came up to our bus for snacks from the... More

We took the "off-road" trip on a converted school bus. The driver was full of information about the history of the ranch and the local wildlife. Beautiful back country. Be sure to pet the alligator that rides the bus with you.

This was one of the most enjoyable and educational afternoons during our trip! Perfect for families, or couples! The tour guides and employees are sincere people who really go out of their way to teach you about the preserve, and make the tour enjoyable. I can't wait to go back and repeat the tour! It was so neat to drive... More

We take our tourist friends here often. It gives them an instant understanding of Florida's diverse eco-systems and interesting flora and fauna. There is so much more than golf courses and Disney and this is the place to prove it.

I absolutely loved this place. We came here on Christmas Eve and it was so magical and relaxing. We saw all of the animals we hoped to see and more. This is the real Florida and in the neighborhood you can find a lot of farmers markets and farmer stands , think local honey, strawberries, tangerines etc.

Babcock Wilderness Adventures is a great experience that everyone in my family appreciated, even though we all have different interests. It's an incredible immersion into actual Florida and an absolute contrast to the Disneyfication of everything else. We saw multiple alligators, so many birds, a Florida panther, and tons of beautiful foliage. It's absolutely worth the cost, and I'd go... More

Experience Florida's past where cattle was king, gators thrived in swamps, birds or many kinds migrated to nest, and nature dominated man. The tour was educational, informative, and very user friendly. Bring a camera to enhance the fun, especially, seeing a full grown wildcat in its natural setting.
