So pretty. The nature and wildlife were spectacular, and the staff was very nice and helpful with my son, who has ASD

Just not much there. The so called trail was underwater. I was worried about snakes and fire ants. There are nicer parks to visit.

I like this park a lot. It's not hard to find off Walton Road in Eastern Port Saint Lucie. There is a nominal 3 dollar fee but its well worth it. I go here for some of the most peaceful and beautiful kayaking in the area. It is a little dependent on rainfall since it is a lake/marsh. After a... More

A look at real, wild Florida awaits just East of Federal Highway 1 on Florida's Treasure Coast. Accessible by bicycle or vehicle, the marsh and forest area has plenty of bird life, from Sandhill Cranes to Florida Wood Storks, spoonbills and more. Haven't seen a gator, but likely inhabitant, as are elusive bobcats and marsh rabbits. The intracoastal waterway is... More

When you want to take a walk when it is cool, be careful of the mosquitos - it has some nice trails, be careful of snakes.

Not much to see here except a bunch of cabbage palms. I did come across loads of dragonflies at the canoe launch. It was extremely hot the day I went so that had bearing on my review. No shade area. I was also the only one using the park on this day.

I visited the Savannas as part of an office retreat and very glad I did. The park rangers were very knowledgeable and the area was breathtaking. The fact that all of this was right in my own backyard was awesome. They have a research facility an area to kayak and picnic. If you are ever in the area you must... More

Close to home to go and walk. They need to keep their trails manicured better, but other than that good for walking and viewing wildlife.

It was getting pretty boring walking the sidewalk along A1A at my hotel so decided to give this park a try. It was an enjoyable trek and good change from the boring sidewalk. Good hiking area. Go before disk to avoid mosquitos.
