Went on the kayak tour, my 2nd time, my wife's first. Jay and Deb that host the tour are great to go out on the water with. They are very friendly and knowledgeable of the preserve. Very peaceful here and a nice getaway from the hustle and bustle of PSL. We will definitely be going back out on the water.... More

This was an easy drive to Walton Road in St. Lucie. It has many trails for hiking and fun to kayak around. You'll see all kinds of wildlife native to Florida.

This park is peaceful and it's nice to hike or kayak but unfortunately the day we were here trails were closed because underwater. We paid 3 $ fee for nothing.

We camped right on the waters edge. The preserve is full of wildlife, birds, gators, turtles. Power, water and sewer right at campsite. We did not have a fire ring for some reason, most others did. There are rest rooms, showers and a laundry building. The restrooms and showers were relatively clean and basic, as you would expect. The area itself... More

The nature center is very cool for adults and kids. The staff is very laid back and friendly. There are native on sale for cheap. The loop trail is good for walking or biking but only in the dry season. Dog friendly too.

If you like to hike through nature trails this is great. Not many attractions, but it is peaceful, tranquil and you hear only the sound of nature. Wear comfortable shoes and bring water.

We visited the park on the day a fire demonstration was being held. We had alot of fun, enjoyed the lectures and interactive displays in the learning center. We learned about keeping our yards and our neighbors safe . We also took part in some hands on demonstrations outside. Very informative day. There was a nice area under cover porch... More
