She is beautiful! I appreciate that the money is there to preserve her. There’s lots of green space to have picnics and for kids to play. Gorgeous view!

THANK YOU ladies of Port Saint Joe for raising the funds to preserve this lighthouse as well as the lighthouse quarters. The ladies that volunteer to staff the lighthouse & gift shop are amazing & will share the history of the lighthouse if you ask.

We took a day off from beach, tour a couple light houses near us. This is a must stop, very cool. The lady in the shop was so nice and knew a lot about the history of this light house.

I watched a video of this being moved. It’s a pretty little lighthouse with a scenic view. The area around it is great for a backdrop for pictures.

Light house has been moved from its functional location in the name of “preservation”. Ok for a quick visit, but don’t expect to be overwhelmed.

The view of the bay and Port St. Joe is beautiful from the lighthouse. This one of the must see things to do when you are in the area.

I painted from one of the porches overlooking the lily pond, the ocean, and the lighthouse grounds. Great egrets dotted the pond and the sky was evechanging. It is a very peaceful place and quite beautiful at sunset.

About the first 20% of the steps are outside while the rest are inside the lighthouse.

We were there last fall. The lighthouse has been moved to a park in town in Port St. Joe. It is close to the marina. I don't know the address, but you can see it from the highway, so you can find your way to drive to it... More
