Laid back, boat ramp easily accessible. Lots to see and do here including swimming, kayaking, boating, etc. Great place to access scalloping sites, when in season.

The beaches in the state park are so gorgeous and clean. We visited the beaches and then one day also rented a pontoon boat and went out to The Point and played in the water and walked on totally deserted beaches. A truly beautiful place.

Whether a day trip or weekend getaway, this place is amazing. From the campsite to the beach, everything is well maintained. We enjoyed how close everything was and the nature all around. It made for a perfect trip.

We stayed from July 17-21 and camped in tents at the state park. There were two adults and three children ranging in age from 12-6. There is so much to do at this state park from the white sand beach to snorkeling, kayaking, boating, shell hunting, nature walks , fishing and just relaxing!!! The sunsets were awesome over the Gulf... More

Enjoyed watching the boats and people snorkeling. You could walk out a good ways and it was not deep. Tried fishing but did not have any luck the day I went.

The kids, and adults, had a blast snorkeling in the bay next to the boat ramp. We found lots of need things swimming or crawling through the sea grass. We would like to camp here sometime.

We took our kayaks in here for a paddle. The water is shallow, but still a fun time...only wish the scallop season wasn't delayed in the area this year. Good launch site for the boats and nature walk for the all. Has picnic tables and bathrooms near boat launch.

Me and my husband had great time. We walked on the beach, and we took some pictures. In addition, we came here on Sunday afternoon, and beach was almost empty. We love to visit State Parks across US.
