The landscape and docks were nice, however the water was murky when we were there. It felt safe. You do have to pay for parking, but it was very reasonable.

Very small beach but others are close by if you drive to manasota key beach etc. Punta Gorda is a harbor and bay type area tho and still very nice.

If you are looking for a place to relax this is it. Rather you are on the beach or just sitting on a bench, it makes for a truly great and relaxing day.
