Played a quick 18 holes at this executive course to practice my short game - definitely a tricky challenging executive course. I enjoyed it a lot. The staff was great, and it was inexpensive. Greens had recently been aerated, but it was fun nonetheless. Definitely tight with houses everywhere !!!

It’s short and it’s tight but it’s a really well designed little course that is at all times interesting. It’s a great test of your short game. We found the greens to be in good condition and fair. Everyone employed there were really friendly in our experience. I’d also say it was good value. I’ve paid far more for far worse.

Went to this course as it’s an executive course and my wife and sister like shorter courses. This was a huge mistake!!! Upon arrival we went to the bag drop area and no one was there and no rack to put your clubs. Bad start from the beginning. Went to the Pro Shop to check in and the man behind the desk was obviously talking to a friend and after 5 minutes checked us in. Water and ice was not located in a convenient spot. Tees were in horrible condition and greens were rock hard. No drink cart on the day we were there. We will not be back to this course as there are many better options nearby.

Went to Kingsgate Golf Club in Port Charlotte for a real estate flipping presentation. The room we were in is set up to suit most any kind of presentation. The boxed turkey sandwich dinner that the presenter choose to serve people was a disgrace. The presenter was a fast talking manic acting man who was pushing people to sign up for their 3 day retreat that costs $1147. The fact that Kingsgate choose to allow this type of hard seller doesn't make me want to go back to anything with the Kingsgate name on it.

The staff in the pro shop and the restaurant are friendly. The food is good. Nice place to hang out on a Sunday afternoon. Really enjoyed the golf course, played 18 holes.
