I asked my son what he wanted to do on our family trip to Orlando. He said deep sea fish. He researched different charters and settled on Fired Up. The charter fee seems to be pretty standard across the different outfits, so I booked them for a full day for two of us. We were paired with Captain Joe. After searching for live bait, we hit Joe’s “honey hole” and had four king mackrel in the boat within an hour. Then word got out to the other charters of our success and the hole dried up. We moved to another location and landed another mackrel, a barracuda and two small sharks. With the hurricane churning in the south Joe was upfront and said we could stay out here longer, but I doubt we’ll catch anything. Fish can sense the storm and seemed to have gone into hiding. We tried for another 45 minutes without a strike, so we called it good for the day. Ended up with a 3/4 day instead of a full day. I appreciate Joe being upfront with us and saving a little money. It was a great experience. My son said it was the highlight of the trip.

Honesty is what we are all about. Safety is #1 for us and then it is fun. We are always upfront and honest with our customers. We don't like to set up anyone for disappointment. I know my secretary Debra often books for a full/bottom trip but always tells the customers when you get to the boat in the morning to talk with the captain and see where the bite is. The Capt. might tell you the current is too strong for a bite on the bottom and do a full day instead. Debra always tells the customers to have a conversation with the captain on what their expectations are and let him do what he does best !! We appreciate you taking the time to write this review. We look forward to hearing from you again.
Thank you,
Capt. Chris

We booked a family trip with Fired up, and got to spend the day with Captain Tyler. When we got on the boat, Captain Tyler explained to us that because of the bad weather and season, we may not catch any sharks, “but he will try his best”. His best is what we got. In a 4 hour fishing trip, we pulled into the boat 10 sharks (black tip spinner, sand bar, fine tooth and black nose) ranging from 4 feet to over 6 feet, Weight 30-200lbs. We caught a sting ray also. There were an additional 2 that were too big to attempt to bring in the boat, and at least 5-6 that we lost the battle to a line breaking. We really made captain Tyler work today. We were all in complete disbelief of how many we were catching. We were told to not expect this if we go again, but I challenge all of you to beat our record! Captain Tyler is the best!!!!

WOW !!!! What an amazing day you all had !!!!! You had a rod bending, stellar day for sure and glad that you really loved your experience with us. I'm sure your arms were sore the next day lol. Capt. Tyler is a great knowledgeable captain with an infectious laugh that loves what he does. I think you would agree with that. Thank you for taking the time to write this review we appreciate that. LOL Fishing is Fishing not catching. The waters are always unpredictable and at the end of the day you can always say that we couldn't have tried any harder that's a promise. Looking forward to hearing from you again.
Thank you,
Capt. Chris

Best in the business!! I have taken multiple friends out with Fired up and they never fail! They truly are the best from the the ower Chris to there Captains. I have been using Fired up for a few years now with multiple captains and they never give up and have dedication to get you a fish on. The last trip we did with Captain Tyler was none stop, we bagged kings by noon and caught multiple after and was never a dull moment. One trip we did Captain Joe had a hook stuck in his arm and couldn't get it out! We felt so bad and asked him to go back so he can take care of himself multiple times and declined because he was dedicated to fish. After that we went with Aron and no not Aaron shark fishing had a blast. that night there was a bad storm and he asked us if we wanted to go in, we told him if he was good we were good and we stayed out, but what made it a great experience he extended the night obviously with a small cost because you have fuel you are burning and we caught multiple sharks. So as a consumer I am very pleased with the service that Fired up offers and is worth every penny!

Thank you very much for sharing our all of your experiences with the captains that you have gone out with. We are so proud of our Team here at Firedup because that is what it takes to put it all together. Starting with the booking to everything in between, cleaning the days catch, cleaning the boat for the next day to my secretary following up with everyone. We appreciate your dedication to us and we look forward to the next time. Stay safe and see you soon
Thank you,

Thank you Fired Up Fishing Charters for a wonderful day out at sea! Captain Morgan on Seas Fire was phenomenal! So quick to bait up and throw in the 3 fishing rods, it took no time to get the fishing expedition started! Captain Morgan was very experienced and shared pointers on when and how to reel in the fish! Once we had our total fish count for the day 2 King Fish per person with a party of 5 people he took us to a different spot to go shark fishing! There we reeled in a 7 foot shark with the help of Captain Morgan! I definitely recommend this charter for the cleanienss of the boat and well maintained fishing gear and boat equipment! The bathroom on the boat and in store location were very clean and roomy! The store bathrooms even had showers, I just wish they were still open after 8 pm. I wasn't expecting the Captain to do so much work! I have gone on much bigger charters where you bait and hook your own lines which takes much longer when you aren't quite as experienced and less fishing, I appreciate the undivided attention and quickness Captain Morgan was able to provide to get the fishing started! Captain Morgan also cleaned, filet and bagged all the fish for us afterwards. I definitely recommend Fired Up Fishing Charters to family and friends!

Thank you so much for such a detailed review of your experience with us. We are so happy that you noticed everything that we all take so much pride in. Maintaining the fleet to the experience and knowledge of the captains and that is only a small piece of the puzzle that makes it all work. We appreciate you and taking the time to leave this review and noticing what makes us so successful. Capt. Morgan is awesome and we are so happy that he is on our TEAM here at Firedup Charters. I agree, Blue Points Marina has awesome bathrooms with showers but we too would love them to open earlier and stay later but that is out of our control. Thank you for such a wonderful recommendation and we look forward to hearing from you again, Stay safe
Thank you,
Capt. Chris

My son and husband had an outstanding experience with Captain Joe! When we called in the morning, they told us they'd check with the captains to see if they had room on any boats going out that day. They called us back within 5 minutes, with a scheduled outing.
They were able to catch MANY sharks. Joe helped whenever necessary, but he also allowed the teens on our boat to feel successful with their skills.
The company's communication was excellent, and we highly recommend booking a fishing trip with Fired Up Fishing.

It was an amazing time! The captain kept the kids fishing for smaller bait as we waited for the sharks to bite,( while the adults relaxed). The captain was very nice and well informed. There were 5 of us and we all caught shark and many other smaller fish/ shark, and he was able to tell us what was being caught. I will say if you plan on bringing anything home bring bags and a cooler, if you are traveling on a flight seek out where to get dry ice. This adventure was amazing for us all and I would highly recommend using them for a fishing charter! Their prices were the best of all the places we called. When we plan our next trip we will definitely book them again! Thanks for the great experience!!

WOW !!🎣💜✨🐟💥 Thank you so very much for such a great review. We definitely need to add that it's appreciated if everyone could bring some gallon plastic zip lock bags to put their fresh fish filets in. We do have them available in the marina store too. All of our captains are super great and they make up our team here at Firedup Charters. I will do some research on the dry ice and see what our options are. Thank you for everything and we will look forward to seeing you all again.
Thank you,
Capt. Chris

Thank you !! We appreciate you taking the time out of your day to give us such a great recommendation. It is the hardest thing to get anyone to do once they leave the boat happy when they get back into their daily routine. I'm glad that the bite was on and the rods were bending for you all. We look forward to hearing from you again.
Thank you,
Capt. Chris

It was an extremely slow fishing day. You could hear all the other captains desperate to find a single bite. Captain Joe helped us find the only hungry mackerel in the entire ocean (it seemed that way). He then took us to the only 50ft peice of real-estate, where through an arm destroyingly long day we managed to catch our limit on vermillion snapper and even caught some large red snappers we had to throw back. That's how we did.
However, I would never give 1 or 5 or any star rating on how the were biting. That would be stupid. I gave the stars because the effort was worth it. He tried hard answered all of our dumb questions with a smile, and he was as engaged as the group wanted. He would bait hooks for those who wanted and other wise let those of us that wanted to fish alone.
What sealed the deal was he didn't spend half the day "reminding" us that he accepts tips. The company posts it and there is a small sign of faqs posted on the boat where it is included. He spent the whole day providing a great service, and then after that cleaned and fileted over 50 fish without ever "reminding" us.

What a great perspective, not looking at not giving it five stars for catching or not catching fish. There is SO much that goes into a trip and it's great that you noticed that. It starts with perhaps my secretary Debra booking the charter and answering all the questions and educating them of all the qualities of our fleet. Then we have to maintain each boat and organize the boat to personalize the trip. It's a big ocean out there and we have our spot's. Firedup has a group of people behind the scenes that are so knowledgeable at what they do best and I'm proud that I call it TEAM Firedup. It does make a TEAM to make it all happen. Thank you so much for leaving such an insightful view. We look forward to hearing from you again. Stay safe
Thank you,
Capt. Chris

We were all Fired Up and Ready for our Evening Shark Catching Excursion with Aaron on The Seas Fire! Visiting family from LA this was my sons 19th birthday present that was in April.
Seas Fire did not disappoint we caught about 14 Sharks 2 to 4 feet but the best was the last one right during an amazing sunset. 15 minutes of fighting and reeling a 9’ “Tiger Shark” Holy Cow!
What a fantastic experience and the 5 teenagers
On board were all Fired Up and in awe of the moment, they will never forget.
Thank You Seas Fire. We will definitely make it an annual trip !

We went out with Capt Joe, and had a great time. He put us on fish all day to the point we caught our limit on two different species. Capt Joe is great, he is very professional and knowledgeable. Capt Joe made all of us feel more like we were out fishing with an old friend and not on a charter. I was worried about the size of the boat because there were six of us in our party. The boat was very comfortable and we never felt cramped. We are already planning our next trip with Capt Joe.

YAY 🎈🎈🎈Thank you for such a great review. We have to agree that Capt. Joe is awesome and we call him Fire Me Up !Six is very comfortable on the boat especially when everyone brings their food and drink in a plastic bag and puts it in our coolers. Gives everyone more walking room. Glad that you limited out and we look forward to hearing from you again.
Thank you,

Is anyone interested in splitting a full day charter on 3/13/18? On my end it would be me and my 12 year old son, would love to go with a similar twosome. I'd even be interested in a single person and split it 2/3 to 1/3. Please respond ASAP if interested.
Thanks

Hi, thank you so much for your inquiry. I will make a note of it. As of right now I don't have a full day open. If I get anyone that is also inquiring of splitting I will have you both get in touch with each other and work it out. David is right we usually don't split trips up for various reasons. Thank you David for offering that is awesome of you. Thank you Capt. Chris

Hi, We are looking to go deep sea fishing during the week of December 26th. There will be at least of us. My husband does not want to fish for sharks, but does want a fight. I would prefer to eat what we catch. Do you guys have any charters like that? Probably half day, depending on price. What is the price for both half and full?
What do charters normally fish for during this time of year?
Thanks, Anne
Written June 25, 2016
December is usually the best in offshore kingfishing! only issue is weather is sometimes worse in winter but theres still plenty of days to fish. full days are 900 1/2 days are 700 that's for up to 6 in your party. please call me anytime at 407-222-3573

We were at the Sunrise Marina in June of last summer and spent a lot of time by there eating at all the wonderful restaurants there by your Marina. We saw all the fish come in from charters while we were there and this summer we WANT to go and catch some great fish and send it home as we are fisher people from Nebraska and Farm Pond fish just don't compare with the AWESOME seafood we ate down there.
We want to come in June sometime between the 11 & 16th. I don't know how booked up you are during that time. I don't know if I should book with you for fishing trip and then get flights, hotels etc - just not sure how your scheduling works. There would be 3 in our party, myself, my husband and my daughter and she is 7.
And how much is it per day - would just the 3 of us be on a boat with you? If you prefer to email me send me your email address and I will direct other ?'s there. Thanks!
