Pompano is doing a great job updating their attractions geared towards family fun, diving, and arts and culture. It was exciting to watch a ship being sunk with artistic additions for divers. Unlike Deerfield' disaster, this worked. When the municipal pier is completely finished. The...More

Come back later in the year, when construction is finished. Feel free to enjoy the beach, bring your own snacks, but don't count on fishing at this location.

Great time walking on the pier in Pompano Beach. We could see all sorts of cool fish and the boats passing by!

Enjoyed the pier almost every morning, preferably with a cup of coffee! Walk the pier and feel the atmosphere of a great summer morning. Away from the stressful life, alone or with my wife we enjoyed this beautiful spot with great pleasure.

Sadly, the pier is now closed and is being torn down. The new pier is scheduled to be finished in late 2019, but who knows.... It also, in all likelihood, will no longer have free access.
