Pompano pier is currently closed for demolition and will be replaced with a brand new much larger pier. Its supposed to reopen in 2018, but the public beach area is open and recently redeveloped beautifully!

They are rebuilding the pier and it will be closed for 2 years for construction. You can still get some beautiful pictures, and all other beach attractions in the area remain open.

Fun times for a stroll or to fish off of. Walk the beach and then look into the ocean off the dock or enjoy your time fishing.

At this time the Pier needs repairs but the view is nice. The pier was damaged from the last hurricane. Lots of people fish fish off the dock.

Sadly, the pier is now closed and is being torn down. The new pier is scheduled to be finished in late 2019, but who knows.... It also, in all likelihood, will no longer have free access.
