EXTREME RUDENESS
Jun 2018
I rarely write reviews but felt compelled to do so based upon a recent experience. We decided to take our family for bowling since it was raining out. (We were tourists for a week at the beach.) Upon approaching the desk and inquiring about an available lane, the guy exhibited the most negative demeanor and worst attitude I have ever seen. Very rude! Needless to say, he lost our business that day. If the owner cares about his business, he will find someone who likes (or can at least pretend he likes) working with the public.

Does it have to be so loud during the day?
Oct 2016 • Family
Seriously - have some respect for little kids and the senior crowd who love to bowl but can't stand the loud music. Why can't you have a few lanes as a designated music-free (or less decibels) zone. I was there with my elderly parents, out-of-town brother, sister-in-law with teen kids during the mid-afternoon on Sunday, Oct 9. We couldn't talk, we couldn't relax, we couldn't enjoy ourselves. The guy in charge was truly a douche. We asked him to turn it down a bit, he made it even louder. Little kids came in with their hands over their ears. We asked for two lanes, he wouldn't accommodate us. The place was practically empty -- to spite us, he put a family with a whole bunch of little kids right next to us! They at least protested and were moved to another lane. Customer service sucks and I was embarrassed that I even suggested this place. Our family outing could have been so much nicer. I'm sorry I didn't take that guy's name, but I'm sure management will know who was behind the counter at 3pm.

Birthday party
May 2016 • Friends
Wasn't very organized for the kids b'day party. For the price we paid, it should have had been better.

Have been coming in since I was a kid. The remodel they did really makes a huge difference. Great place! Lots of fun!

AVOID! Crime-ridden place to bowl
Jul 2015 • Friends
Such a shame - great alleys, balls and music. However, we were HORRIBLY robbed here - hundreds and hundreds of dollars worth of goods gone, in virtually 45 seconds of returning shoes (bags hidden - in night - ie dark - disco night) so therefore we figure the staff were scoping us out the whole time, since we never left to even use the restrooms. OWNER IS TOTALLY RUDE and incompetent - not until police came to make report a few days later did he bother to show up, after many many calls and messages left. No access to video surveillance - police came up with nothing (probably they are just for show. As an avid bowler, I am very disappointed to have to 'strike' (pardon pun!) this place off my local list. Absolutely horrible treatment from the people who own and run this place. If you bowl here - enjoy - but DO NOT TRUST anyone that works here.

Rainy day fun
Feb 2015 • Family
Anytime you visit south Florida you run into the chance of a rainy day. If you are on vacation with children the last thing they want to do is sit idle speed in a hotel room & watch the rain fall when they could be at the beach. They have plenty of lightweight & colorful balls for kids & bumpers to ensure win/win games. The price was great & the staff was sort of friendly.

Fun Birthday PArty
Jan 2015 • Family
We had a friends daughters birthday last weekend and they organized it at the Diamond Strike.

It´s been a long time since I have been bowling and I was amazed at the changes in the place.
Screens everywhere playing music, lights shows, lots of things happening at the same time.
Everyone who was there enjoyed themselves.... young and old.

My bowling is off but brought back great memories of my younger years and friends.

Had a great time last time, but this time was terrible
My bf and I were placed in a lane with multiple families who had three other lanes and many small children. The kids, being kids were running in our lane. And one bowled during our turn. So I asked to be moved. We then we're moved. A rude man called me a derogatory comment due to being drunk and we were moved again. Last we ended up at another lane having fun, and the little boy from our first lane showed up and began bowling in our lane again. So not knowing bowling etiquette, I waited for each bowler to stop and asked if he belonged to them. I found his parents. They yelled at him, thanked me. And the manager, Brian, kicked us out since I walked in front of the lanes. I didn't know. I was just trying to find the kids parents. He was also running in front of the lanes. I was trying to prevent him from getting hurt and I waited till the bowlers stopped. I was very upset at the outcome. Otherwise staff was nice. Groupon deal good.
