On being taken to a Music Museum by our Austrian friend we wondered what we would find. We needn’t have worried because we had a wonderful experience made even better by the enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide-Elke Hofer. She was brilliant -explaining (in English) the development of recorded music through the ages using a varied sample of the 160+ original keyboards/organs/parlaphones/jukeboxes on display. The collection itself is remarkable but to see them in action was a real treat. Elke did everything she could to make our visit worthwhile and she succeeded so well with great humour and warmth. This ‘museum ‘ is interactive so you can use the machines yourself- and hear the results -much to our amusement. We even ended up waltzing which was a first for us. Thank you Elke you did a great job.
