We parked at the Polk City trailhead and rode north about 22 miles. It was really a wonderful biking experience. The trail surface is very smooth, and the trail is tree-lined and beautiful. There are restrooms about every 10 miles. Be sure to take food...More

We have walked the entire trail and found the best part to walk is between Bay Lake trailhead and Green Pond trail head. Very scenic with wild life. In between there is 10 miles.

Flat, safe, cannot get lost but you are in middle of the Green Swamp and all the wildlife that contains, especially Alligators. Really peaceful and beautiful. But very hot so take water, sun screen, hats etc

great Park Ranger and volunteers keep this trail beautiful and clean. I've ridden the whole thing, and have loved every minute of it. Lots of wildlife in the morning and dusk. I've seen deer, turkey, hawks, otters, alligators, bunny's and more.

We walked for 3 miles from the start of the trail and then made our way back. There is a block of toilets not far from the start but then we didn’t see any others. It’s a long flat, straight trail with not much to...More

We enjoy this trail each year. It is paved and long. There are alligators, turtles and birds. Take your time and stop at the bridges you are sure to see something.

We've done this trail before and as usual we see trail maintenance people doing their job. If you complete the entire ride you cover 3 counties.
