    Mechanic’s tour
If you have any interest in cars at all, this is a fascinating museum, stuffed with unique cars including many prototypes. My friends and I just finished the Mechanics Tour, led by Andy. As the wife of a gear head, much of the technical information went over my head. But Andy kept the narrative entertaining and relevant to his audience of about 10 people. At the end, Andy took us into his workshop to show us his current restoration project. I highly recommend this tour!

    Must See Museum!!!
Allen, the director was a wealth of knowledge. The museum is family owned that had 75 of the most unique cars; 5 of which are the only one in the world. It’s an international collection with emphasis on unique engineering. Highly recommend stopping by.

    Best ever
I have been to a lot of auto museums, including the Peterson in Los Angeles and the giant collection in the Emirates. This is probably the best auto museum I have ever seen. You can get up close and personal with the cars. The docent staff are extremely knowledgeable about the details and mechanical aspects of the cars. I could easily spend four hours in this museum.
We are very happy you had a wonderful experience! We strive to provide an informative guest experience.

    An incredible learning experience.
Yesterday my two daughters, my grandson, and I visited the Tampa Bay Automobile Museum. We weren't exactly sure what to expect, we would see cars of course, but what we experienced was an incredible learning experience. We were there minutes after the Museum opened, and received what could only be described as a personal tour by Gary, one of the employees. I consider myself a "car guy", and my degree is in History, but my knowledge compared to Gary's depth of knowledge is like a BB rattling in a boxcar. Gary made an interesting visit into an incredible experience.

Great place to visit! Awesome collection of unique vehicles. Alan was very knowledgeable and walked us through the museum and offered some very interesting information and stories about each vehicle. Also got to meet the owner who gave us more good stories about the acquisition and restoration of the vehicles. I highly recommend visiting here!

Spent a couple hours looking around this very clean, well lit and interesting car museum. One of the things that differentiates them is every single vehicle on display is currently registered to be driven on the road and is in working shape so that if they want to they could drive any of them on the road today. Staff was helpful and knowledgeable. Small gift shop on premises, no restaurant or snack shop. Additionally while you should not be touching the vehicles there is no rope to prevent you from getting up close which makes this also a little different than other car museums we have visited. The level of restoration of these vehicles is unbelievable. Many have won awards have prestigious car shows around the country. Some of them are the last remaining or the only example of the vehicle that was ever made. Heavy on French and Czechoslovakian vehicles. This is not to say there aren't some English, American, and German vehicles. Well worth your time if looking at superbly restored automobiles from the past is of interest to you

Although relatively small, this very nice museum has an amazing collection of vintage automobiles that were ‘firsts’ in terms of technology and engineering.

We visited the museum as a family and everybody had a great time! The staff are passioned with the cars and always available to answer any questions.

The collection is well documented and they have several rarities, such as the world’s first automobile, among several others.

All automobiles in the museus are operative and severely of them have been prized for its state of conservation and beauty.

A hidden gem! Every piece of this collection high lights something unique! The staff shares their excitement and knowledge freely and made for a visit that exceeded my expectations. I did drag my spouse along and she even stated that she enjoyed it! That says it all! Nicely housed exhibits that are regularly driven and many shown at Amelia Island or Pebble Beach. Many one off vehicles. Clean facility, nice restrooms, and staff wearing masks. At the entrance price, it may be the best bargain attraction in Tampa!

What a delight. Reminds me of the Mullin Museum in Oxnard. That collection admittedly is a bit higher end (i.e. Bugatti SC Atlantic, Talbot Lago 150 teardrop) , but the spirit here is the same. Cars to be driven, collected by an individual / family who clearly loves them and displayed for the benefit of those who seek this out rather than set forth as a business to keep folks AWAY from the vehicles - so many (!) museums make this error. This is stewardship. Comparison aside, there are many rare and valuable cars here too, and all come with informative signage as well as roving guides who are able to connect with visitors on all levels - from those only casually interested to those who are very (very) familiar with the history, mechanics etc. of a given model. Well done, Bravo!

Every vehicle in this museum was chosen for having some unique features, often ahead of their times.

Museum displays privately-owned collection amassed by the owners of the adjacent packaging company.

We are so thankful that the owners of these cars share their beauty with the public.

Interesting collection of movie posters and airline advertisements.

We spent an entire hour there but could have spent much more. I'd love to return and watch some of the available videos.

Docents are extremely knowledgeable, friendly and helpful.
