We had the best time! The lady we rented the kayak’s from was so nice and helpful! Not many people in the water this day! We loved how clean and private it was. Enjoyed the water shower outside to wash the sand off. Saw a...More

We camped 2 nights here. It's obviously a well-thought out campsite. There's ample room for both tents and RV's. I don't know if all the sites supply it, but our spot had power and water. Bathrooms were close but unobtrusive. There are lots of pavilions...More

This is a hidden gem of a park and a great place to spend a quiet day without the crowds. We visited with a group on 10 that included 5 kids ranging in age from 12 to 17. We explored the beautiful beaches, rented paddle...More

Unfortunately we visited the park on an extremely windy day. Did some kayaking within the tall grass areas, but when we tried to go out into the intercoastal waterway it was way too windy. This would be a fun place to kayak on a calmer...More

We were staying in a nearby condo, and decided to check out Big Lagoon State Park. This is a great park with access to the Intracoastal Waterway. We checked out the campground and all the great facilities, especially the Governor's Pavilion. We saw signs for...More

We have visited before and love to see the natural area. There is an observation tower that we climbed again on this trip. Boardwalks, manicured trails and rough sand trails. The wildlife never disappoints. Want to come back and kayak here.

There’s nothing wrong with this little state park, but then again there’s really nothing super special about it either. It’s kinda small actually - especially for a place called BIG lagoon - lol. Anyhow, it’s reasonable, it’s got some trails, and some decent camping spots...More

You probably should call the hotel to be sure. They are very helpful. I don't remember seeing any pets inside the lodge, however.
