There is a $1.25 charge per person to go out onto the pier but it's a nice walk. Great views in all directions and because the water is crystal clear, you are able to see all the marine life underneath. Great place to take some photos.

We talked to a lot of the fishermen on the pier, and got introduced to Harry the Hungry Pelican, and watched the dolphins.

I love walking on the pier, it's fascinating to watch the people fishing, they are always happy to talk to you about what they have caught. You can often see cool marine life including sharks and stingrays.

I stopped by Pensacola on my drive to NOLA I parked my car and went for a quick swim. This place is nice, restaurants and hotel beach front, you can rent jet skies, go swimming in the clear water, and tan on the white sand.

Kid with the costa hat is a baller, $1.25 well spent! The one other guy had a patchy go tee but other than that everything was great!

The water was perfect to be able to go out and just let the waves move you around. We rented the two chairs and umbrella for $20 for three hours but didn't stay too long as being from the North we would have been fried even using sunscreen. I picked up several pretty seashells to remember my trip and you... More

Took our kids fishing at the pier. Rented the poles got our bait and headed out. Kids had fun. It was very hot so we didn't stay very long. About 2 hours. I was in Pensacola for 8 days. This is the only place we ran into anything negative. But I have to say the two men working at the... More

I wanted to love Pensacola Beach, but I didn’t. Maybe it was the day we were there but the water was full of plant life that just got everywhere. We had just spent 3 days on the Alabama Coast and I would have preferred we stayed there another night and skipped Pensacola Beach all together.
