The water was perfect to be able to go out and just let the waves move you around. We rented the two chairs and umbrella for $20 for three hours but didn't stay too long as being from the North we would have been fried even using sunscreen. I picked up several pretty seashells to remember my trip and you... More

Took our kids fishing at the pier. Rented the poles got our bait and headed out. Kids had fun. It was very hot so we didn't stay very long. About 2 hours. I was in Pensacola for 8 days. This is the only place we ran into anything negative. But I have to say the two men working at the... More

I wanted to love Pensacola Beach, but I didn’t. Maybe it was the day we were there but the water was full of plant life that just got everywhere. We had just spent 3 days on the Alabama Coast and I would have preferred we stayed there another night and skipped Pensacola Beach all together.

Good beach for people looking to have a good time. Lots of people, lots of activity. Free parking close by. Beautiful sand, lots of shells, good size waves. Watch some people windsurfing out on the water. Good social scene and lots of good places to eat nearby.

I recently visited this beach for a mini vacation and fell in love with it. The environment is so welcoming and great for families (even though it was just me and my boyfriend). We were here for 3 days and every single day it was beautiful. The sand is so white and the water is BEAUTIFUL. Also, there are a... More

This was my son's favorite part of the trip. For $1.25, we could walk on the pier. For about $28, my son was able to rent a pole and bait. A fishing license wasn't necessary. He fished for hours and caught a Spanish mackerel. We saw a beautiful rainbow, sunset, and even some dolphins.
