This venue packs a lot of information into a small space. Situated next to the iconic Fish House, many locals don't have a clue what's behind its doors. This is a shame because this mini museum illustrates the archaeology of Florida in such a lovely fashion without overwhelming visitors. When you go, make sure to look down at the floor... More

Its a very nice place ... smalll but pack with info and helpfull staff . Point me in the rigth direction on visiting othr sites and meusseums ... its a great place to start exploring

A Spanish ship sank in the 1500's rowing distance off the shore in Pensacola. They suspect a hurricane sank it while at berth. While the metal has long rusted away, the barnacles formed a perfect mold of many artifacts. This sweet little museum has many objects created by pouring metal into these molds. Lots more fun stuff, I won't spoil... More

Very informative but smaller on the inside than indicated on the outside. Artifacts were very time specific.

My family stopped here while visiting the area and thought it was well worth the time. It has some great information on Florida history.
