The place is very small. I'm not one who likes to do a lot of reading in museums. I'm drawn to the actual exhibits. This place had a lot of reading and I didn't think they had enough exhibits with actual artifacts. What they had...More

Nothing great here. Expected a bit more artifacts, but it was mostly placards/posters, which were informative. It appears to be staffed by college students. Plan on less than an hour here. Young children would probably be bored here.More

We went on Friday and wow! Mr. Mike read a book about the first language and was so personable to the children and adults in attendance. They learned about archaeology, geology, and paleontology. Up next was sorting artifacts like pottery, bones, metal and rocks. Mr....More

Loved this small museum devoted to some of the archaeological digs and finds in this area including shipwrecks. Packed full of interesting tidbits and information.

This place was great! It's FREE to visit and there were exhibits about archaeology from the entire state of Florida. There's a temporary exhibit that always features new research, so it's a great place to revisit throughout the year. They had tons of resources about...More

Very interesting. And laid out very nicely because it covers the entire state by region so it can actually help plan other trips. Extremely informative.

This venue packs a lot of information into a small space. Situated next to the iconic Fish House, many locals don't have a clue what's behind its doors. This is a shame because this mini museum illustrates the archaeology of Florida in such a lovely...More
